I've never written a bad review, but tonight's non-meal may be the worst restaurant experience of my life. Let me just say that I have been a lifelong Chili's fan; the food, vibe and most importantly - the queso and chips - always take me back to formative years in the burbs as a kid/teen. Do I continue going once or twice a year as an adult predominantly out of nostalgia...sure, yeah probably. Don't we all?? The food has never been great, the menus are greasier with every visit, and the bill is always wrong.
Ok, back to the point. I ordered a chicken sandwich tonight, haven't had it. Let's try something new at Chilis. I ask the waiter if it came with anything on it, and most importantly does it have any sauce on it? He told me, "Yeah, whatever usually comes on a chicken sandwich. Lettuce, tomato. There's no sauce." Hard to believe, but sure. Hope its not mustard, though mustard on a fried chicken sandwich isn't very common, so we should be good. Because I'm allergic to mustard.
The sandwich arrives with a generous base of what looks like mustard. My girlfriend tastes it and says yeah that's mustard. I tell the server, I explain the misunderstanding; I'm frustrated but I admit fault too for not asking directly if my allergen was indeed on there. Realizing his stumble on the included ingredients on the sandy, he agrees to have it replaced. Oh but what's this?? The manager comes to the table and forcefully offers, "This isn't mustard, it's our special sauce. We don't even have mustard back there. You're good." She leaves, I get out my phone and look it up - yep, the special sauce is mustard-based.
At this point, I'm boiling, but I'm not one to cause a scene, so I say, "Ok please wrap it up for me and I'd like the check please." I then receive the check, and do you think it was messed up and that there was a bunch of stuff on there I didn't order??? Of course there was. Awesome.
In summation, the manager refused to get me a replacement for a sandwich that has an ingredient that I was allergic to after I had been incorrectly told what was on the sandwich.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chili’s with my family on a bustling Saturday night, and I felt compelled to share our experience, especially in light of the exceptional service we received.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming hostess who informed us that our wait would be approximately 20 minutes. To our delight, we were seated in even less time. Once at our table, we experienced a slight delay before our order was taken, which was entirely understandable given the restaurant's busy atmosphere. To expedite our service, we reached out to Jack, the busboy, who was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond to assist us. He promptly fetched our drinks and ensured that our waitress was informed of our needs.
Throughout the evening, I was impressed by Jack's (the buss boy’s) commitment to service. He approached his work with a positive attitude, engaging with customers respectfully and treating everyone with dignity—a true testament to the spirit of hospitality.
Our waitress, Lajala, was equally commendable. She was not only polite and attentive but also radiated warmth, making us feel valued. Additionally, Artie, the manager, exemplified professionalism and care, further enhancing our dining experience.
In a time when good customer service can be hard to find, it was refreshing to encounter a team that truly embodies integrity—doing the right thing even when no one is watching. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, and the food was fantastic!
I wholeheartedly believe that outstanding employees like these deserve recognition. A raise is in order for this remarkable team; they certainly set the standard for excellence in customer service.
Thank you for transforming what could have been a typical family dinner into a memorable occasion. We look forward to returning soon!

Read moreThis location is short staff in this very busy shopping area. Because of this u may be told there's a 45 min to an 1hr wait between patrons so that the staff present won't get overwhelmed. The waitress and helper did an ok job. Only things I will complain about is the speed and the attentiveness to us. My fiance and I ordered appetizers, kids meal for our daughter and entrees. The kids meal and my appetizer came first. Then about 20 mins later, the entrees came. What did they forget? My fiance's appetizer. A simple garden salad. We did not get her appetizer until after we ate everything else! How tho?! It's one salad. Smh
Next up, the decor. What's going on in this place? Some walls are bare. TVs are missing. As well as some seating, which is understandable for the social distancing or whatever. But why leave the areas where u removed seating so jank? The spaces where the seating was removed were left empty and unfinished. Also the washrooms need to be cleaned more often or at least checked on every 1hr or so. Some of the table POS machines freeze or display other customer's tabs. Our waitress brought us a new one.
Lastly, as we finished up and were ready to settle the bill we asked our waitress for a to go container. Just one small one. I don't know what happened after that but she disappeared! I ended up just asking the seating host for one. Which she promptly retrieved.
The food was good. The Quesadilla Explosion Salad was nearly perfect if it wasnt for the quesadillas being over cooked cuz the cheese hardened QUICKLY! LIKE INSTANTLY. The cheese had zero pull. It was blah. That salad itself was amazing tho. No complaints on that. My lady and daughter enjoyed their food as well.
Hopefully next time I visit, this location will be in better shape because it can be...
