Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Riverside Township

I was picking up a doordash order and when I walked in I wasn't greeted for a good 5 minutes while two men ran around the restaurant frantically. Finally I was greeted by a nice young man who seemed to be running the restaurant by himself. The other guy must have been a delivery driver because he was doing absolutely nothing. Ignored me and the 2 other guests who walked in behind me. Worried about his pay or getting money, more than he was about the customers. A few minutes later, what I assumed was the manager, walked in cussing and complaining about all his staff calling in. He immediately ran to the back and was throwing things around and cussing and yelling so loud that we could all hear him in the front. I work in the restaurant industry as well and know how it is so I definitely understand being frustrated and short staffed. But for the manager to be acting like a 5 year old child throwing a tempertantrum was very unprofessional. I have never witnessed a manager acting this way and I have worked in many many restaurants. The phone rang for the entire 25 minutes i was there. People in the drive through wernt being helped. And I ended up leaving without picking up my order. The kid who was working alone before the manager arrived was trying his best. But I cannot believe the way that manager was acting and if I were in charge I would fire him and promote the young man who remained calm and professional and helpful. The driving "dasher" should've had money on him for change instead of walking away with a hefty tip with terrible service. Not mention he smelled of cigarettes. I had no idea Pizza Hut got rid of their drivers for that third party service door dasher. I wanted a real driver! Not some random stranger delivering my food!!! The employee on the phone seemed negative, like the typical person who falls victim to the system in our society. The pizza wasn't delivered in a heating bag but just straight from the box so the food wasn't hot like it should've been. I also did not receive a receipt with my order in any way, print or digital. AND when I tried to call the store, I kept getting trapped in the automative krap with no person to speak with after the order was received. I look forward to NEVER eating from the pizza chain Frank and Dan Carney started years ago. They would probably be ashamed of what their empire...
