Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Riverside

I went through the drive thru in the way to tge auto place to get my car service. My intention was to eat my lunch while waiting for my car to get done. I ordered a #2 with no mayo. When I got to the window, I was handed my drink and the bag, and I paid. When I checked my car in and sat down to eat, I didn't have any fries. It was my understanding that the combos came with fries, so I called to let them know. I said I had been there like 10 mins ago in a little red car and didnt get my fries. She pulled my order up right away and said, "#2 no mayo, right?". I said yes. Why didn't I get fries? She said, "Oh well she didnt charge you for fries." And I was like but I ordered a combo... A #2. Doesn't it come with fries? She said, "Yeah, but she didn't charge you for it so we don't owe it to you." There was no ownership of the issue. She never said she was sorry or asked how to fix it for me. The only thing she DID do was vehemently proclaim that it wasnt her, the cashier did it. I told her I didn't care who did it, but I wanted her to own the issue because she answered the phone. Needless to say, I am sitting here for the next hour or so with no fries and no way to go pick any up until my car gets done. FAIL, Carl's Jr....

UPDATED REVIEW: Went in yesterday the 30th of January, thought I would give this location another go. Manager Danny was such a breathe of fresh air and such incredible help. Last time I went there was a short-staffing and it was only one worker, however this time around they finally had employees. I got a couple of kids meals for my kids, and myself a western meal. Food was fresh, hot, crispy, and delicious! I asked Manager Danny who was the one cooking, and he said “Eloisa”. Cook Eloisa is absolutely a master in the kitchen!! The wait was not long at all this time around. Danny attended us, delivered our food, and ensured we were well-kept in the playroom. Saw him cleaning and tidying up the playroom every time he would enter to help other clients as well. He was very polite, patient with my family and I, soft-spoken, handled our order with care and urgency, all-together a very well-put young man. I am very happy this time around with the service I received compared to last time. My kids loved the play area, and I loved some time off from parenting! Will recommend this location, but only with Manager Danny and Cook...
