P.S. I Crepe You — Restaurant in Riverside

What a cute place to grab a sweet treat!

My girl friends and I planned an afternoon to celebrate our friend’s birthday and to enjoy some crepes at Riverside’s newest dessert shop, P.S. I Crepe You.

This shop offers both savory and sweet crepes, and is located near the Riverside Plaza off Magnolia and Jurupa. They also offer a variety of hot and cold drinks. I enjoyed a Wild Berry Hibiscus Iced Tea, which was a perfect summer drink. It had just the right sweetness. Savory crepes are not available after 2pm so I opted for the Strawberry Cheesecake + a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. The crepe was generously filled with sweet cream and plenty of strawberries! And the cheesecake bites were a great addition, as was the vanilla ice cream! My friends enjoyed the Bananas Over You and the Churrisimo Cheesecake. Of course, we each ordered the scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. My friend really liked her Strawberry Horchata Matcha Latte drink.

We complimented on the brightly lit space and the ambiance was perfect for a Girls Day. We even dressed up and we were so glad we did because of all the photos we took!

They have a flower wall in the hall leading to their restroom and a “heart candy” wall as well. Our favorite photo spot were at the pink seating and inside the pink telephone booth. The chandeliers added a nice touch to the floral and pink decor.

And, my - oh my! The aroma of crepes on the hot grill was so amazing! It just made for a happy and enjoyable experience. And the service was great! They even had complimentary strawberry spa water available.

It's not every day that you see restaurants that have as brilliant an identity as P.S.ICY, and granted, it's easy to see why. Their store has a very welcoming vibe, great lighting, and ambiance (kudos to the person that workshopped the lighting balance in here with all of the pinks). The menu isn't overwhelming, and it's incredibly easy to parse.

The staff was incredibly helpful with recommendations and spent a minute or two with me to figure out exactly how I wanted my order - I ended up getting the S'mores and "Churrisimo" with additional toppings/sauces. In addition to those, I went ahead and grabbed an Abuelita Hot Chocolate and Iced Horchata Latte to pair with the crepes - these were incredible. It was in the high 80s F, but I needed to see how they executed on a Mexican hot chocolate, and it was stellar.

Now, onto the crepes themselves - despite how much sugar you might feel you're getting loaded onto each crepe, each one was VERY well balanced and did not take away any one component's flavor. The crepe was still the star of the show on each variant I ordered, and I'm excited to try the rest of the menu!

This little crepe shop opened up recently and it was a long time coming. The coming soon banner had been up so long we were wondering when or if it would actually open! After such a long wait, it was definitely worth it! Everyone working here is so polite and excited to have customers coming in. While waiting for your crepe to be made, there is complimentary self-serve fruit infused water, which was very refreshing. As we watched them making each crepe, we noticed their care and attention to every detail in each creation and their presentation. We tried the two strawberry types and they were phenomenal! I'm not much on sweets, but I'll definitely be coming back to P.S. I Crepe You to try their other various selections as every mouthful was amazing the first time around.
