This is my go to Starbucks I go here every morning. I just went on the drive thru and made my order as usual. The person taking our order was nice and friendly. However, I got a wrong item in the order. I went to the front and nicely asked someone if they could fix the issue. I understand people make mistakes I did not mind an exchange. The guy that talk to me is always nice to me he offered to fix the issue and said to keep the other item. Iâm not sure if the manager came out or the person that took the order they came out to give me the right item, as she very rudely and with a fake smile took the other item away and shut the window very hard on me! I did not mind an exchange but she was very rude to me and slammed the window in my face. Not to mention the item they gave me costed more than what I asked for. I paid extra for what I actually got. I donât think people in had negative spirits should work in customer service positions. Everyone else is so nice and kind at that location. Her attitude really threw me off. They need to do better, if theyâre having a bad day they donât need to take it out on a customer specially when it was their own mistake.    Read moreThey don't fill water bottles at walk up, like other Starbucks do. Not a green Starbucks. They're the first Starbucks to have ever denied the request with a sanitation excuse. I do know if driving thru you don't get your water bottles filled.
I imagine they were not having the best time with customers with the drive thru closed due to sewer workers. They didn't even really have that many customers, for any time of day, let alone 8-9 AM to explain their lack of customer patience. They were professional, but they definitely have the impression there bad morning was somehow worse than my bad morning. Maybe I just missed a long rush and a serious of terrible customers, I don't know?
It's best to only go here if you're going to drive thru. They do have a walk up window, where you wait in line outside. Dodging traffic whether parking close or pedestrian frogger, is dangerous.
They don't seem to want my service, so I'll be going elsewhere, even though it's out of my way, when I'm in this area.
I don't know why Mission Grove, food service, in general is problematic, but this Starbucks follows that trend.

I mention it. A few minutes later the server hands me 2 bags. 1 the original muffin I didnât want, warmed and the correct scone I did order warmed, not warmed
In the servers defense, it did seem there was a pile of employees at the drive through end and no one running food to the walk up window.
UPDATE 11/9/2020: Today's Order taker was more interested in getting the response on whether or not I wanted my coffee stiffed or not to get all the parts of my order in place.. So wasted more money on a coffee I can't drink!
Update 3/14/2021: Things are continuing to go downhill here. Shame because when they first opened, this Starbucks actually did a Great job of Reading an order and figuring out what goes where. This week, someone decided that Bagels DON'T come with Cream Cheese, Someone else another day decided that Warmed, meant Microwaved, NOT Toasted and finally, Someone actually read an order for coffee with cream and sugar to mean 1/2 a cup of Black...
