I’ve been going to the sushi restaurant for years on different occasions. Sometimes they do lack with bringing the check, but I have never experienced what we did tonight. My mother and I came into your the restaurant this evening 8/28/25 at about 8:15 PM. The restaurant seemed pretty busy still and we walked into a nice environment. The first thing I noticed was it felt like they were trying to rush us to order our food. Although our food did come out pretty fast when my mother and I finish eating and we were ready for the check. The worker/employees continue to ignore us and walk by us while our empty plate were sitting in front of us. One of them who seemed like the owner had walked by us multiple times looking at us and didn’t even acknowledge us, but would acknowledge all of the tables around us and give them a good customer service . They kept cleaning other people’s tables off, giving them their check quickly. People who came in after us were leaving way before us. We were constantly ignored for almost 30-40 minutes without getting plates, cleaned from our table or even offering us refills on our water. Very disappointed with your guises customer service I’ve been here many times before and spent a couple of hundred dollars here before at different occasions and I’ve never been treating this way. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service and...
Read moreThere’s nothing more irritating than entitlement coupled with a passive, dismissive attitude toward customers. Lose the act — people are bringing money to your business. We’re not inconveniences; we’re the reason you exist.
The practice of slipping in an automatic gratuity — especially when the service is rude and passive-aggressive — is unacceptable and feels like a ripoff. On a $45 order, they added an $11 “tip” without even asking. That’s not gratitude; that’s taking money without permission.
A tip is OPTIONAL. You — the restaurant — are not entitled to gratuity. Nobody is.
Forcing it onto customers who clearly didn’t receive good service is insulting and greedy. It’s the kind of petty, entitled behavior that ruins a dining experience and guarantees people won’t come back.
To anyone else dealing with this: always pay with a credit card, not a debit card. If they sneak in an automatic tip, dispute it or do a chargeback. You have every right to challenge unauthorized or inflated charges. Under state law, you are not obligated to pay a tip that you didn’t agree to.
This business takes advantage of customers’ generosity and good will, hoping most people won’t notice or speak up. That ends here.
One-star service. Zero integrity. Endless entitlement. Never going...
Read moreTHIS IS THE WORST PLACE! EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Generally, for the past year I go to Amagi Sushi (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and down the street) but I decided to try this place because it was across the street from the car wash. I saw the other reviews but just got off of work and was extremely hungry. I went and placed a very simple order (Chicken Teriyaki lunch) and the lady said it would only take 15 minutes (Time was 12:20p) I waited till 12:45 and went back in and nothing. Patiently, I went back outside and played a game on my phone. 1:00pm ccame around and I went back into the restaurant and the lady stated something was going on with her kitchen. I said no problem and went back outside. At this time it was 1:20pm, my car wash was already done and I went back in and they said it would take a little longer. WHAT! An hour for a chicken Teriyaki bowl? I asked for a refund and left hungry. Sure enough, my car wash was done. If your looking for great quality and awesome customer service with an organized staff. DO NOT GO HERE. Back to...
