Most rude, incompetent employee I've ever encountered. I gave him the order 3-4 times but each time he read it back incorrectly. I tried using Spanish but that seemed to offend him. "You don't need to do that...I have your order." To which I responded, "No you don't . You haven't read it back correctly yet." He became more rude and said he could "shut down" my order. I said that would be fine and backed out of the drive thru. I went inside the restaurant and spoke with the manager. She was very apologetic and offered my food order for free. All the while this employee continued his rude comments and behavior. I told the manager that I did not want my order; I was concerned the employee might spit in it. To which he responded that he might do something even worse! To her credit, the manager tried to make it better but there was no fixing this situation and we left. It will be a very long time before I return to Del Taco. There are too many other fast food choices...
Read moreOne of the employees on hand doesn't understand the two for seven classic burrito mix and match. The employee tried to charge me, as if I was getting 2 of each burrito, instead of one of each. They argued what two for seven meant incorrectly. What the break down in training and communication was became evident, when I looked at the receipt with the charges added, then removed, where you can clearly see the burritos time two.
I wonder how many customers order two burritos and pay for four, instead of canceling their order, like I did.
It's in a Shell station, with only outside seating, so no dine in, which is not ideal with the majority hot weather.
The service was a little slow, but one employee later at night, it's whatever.
The chocolate shake was fine and as expected. I know it's not Del Taco's fault, I hadn't been able to eat dinner and really needed a meal, health wise, but it made the situation...

And they give you attitude like they don't want your business. Well, now you won't have my patronage 'ya crumb bums' ! For over the last month or so I've grown tired of your outrageously bad service and terrible manners. I got fed up with your foolishness and walked out. If you're only going to serve drive up customers; please close down the walk in! Just remember when folks spend their money at your place of business you're not doing them any real favors, it's the other way around. And to think, I once liked this place.
