Twice I have gone to this IHOP since it’s local and I enjoy supporting the local businesses. Honestly I have had the worse experience both times. I have ordered the big stake omelet with egg whites and both times it’s come with scrambled eggs instead of what I asked for. Twice it’s happen where I see actual steak pieces on the first orders then when I asked for my order to be fix the way I pay for and want I get hamburger on the second one. There is a slow service the waitresses never check on you and if you ask for something that missing or want additionally they never come back.
The so call manager is distracted attempting to help, but she gets lost in the shuffle. She is polite but she does not have what it takes to run a restaurant. If you can’t remember slow down, write it down and go down the list. It’s not difficult. The cooks are not quality employees and add their own season to the food. The oils on the food are not changed out as often. How I know, it’s because you can taste the difference in oils.
The food in a chain of restaurants has its own guide lines and season. Stop adding or taking away. This drives customers away because they are not getting what they pay for, this results in waste of food and customers that will not return to the establishment.
At the end of the day this means the owner of the restaurant is loosing money in more than one way.
Their biscuits and gravy is a joke. It’s not made at the store it comes in a bag then pour on dishes that are poorly washed and with soap residue.
Any way you guys get the idea. Karen Miles, I think there should more training, cooks that can read what customers order and make what they ask not what the cook think it should be. Waitresses should be organized better and have enough personal to attend customers. Shift leads, managers or what ever they are call are there over see the food presentation and quality control , ask customer about the quality of food and maybe help with drinks as you approach customers.
When you try to serve two Gods you are going to fail one for sure.
I do not recommend this IHOP to anyone until the owner makes this right for all customers. We should get what we pay for and you can’t deliver find other ways to make money and have quality and sense of pride in...
Read moreHorrible service! My family and I went during Labor Day and it was understandable that it was going to be busy. When we were seated there were empty tables surrounding us, so naturally we should have been serviced first. However, everyone that was seated after us got their orders before we did and left before we did.
At first everything was fine, drinks were ordered and we were having a great time. But after we ordered our food, everything went downhill from there. This waitress literally, kept forgetting about our pancake orders and we had to remind her about a milkshake that we ordered. She never brought them during the time we were eating our breakfast samplers. When we asked about the milkshake for the third time, we were fed up and asked to cancel. She then said “oh it’s coming out right now”, like that was supposed to mean something and we still did not want it. She told the person supposedly making the shake “she doesn’t want it anymore” right in front of us and left again forgetting to check on our pancakes or even bring them. After that she came back and asked if we wanted the check and she still hadn’t brought our pancakes, while everyone else was getting them (we have eyes and could see the stacks coming out of the kitchen). When she finally brought our pancakes, we were done with our plates and normally this would be the time to be asking for the check, but we ordered more pancakes because we came specifically for the $5 pancakes. This waitress had the audacity to question our order and say that we didn’t have the $5 pancakes and figure out how many $5 pancake orders we had. She couldn’t remember ANYTHING, and she still had the nerve to question our order. And no shocker here, we never got our pancakes and we left. At this point, I bet she never put that order of pancakes in. Worst experience at this ihop and it was the first time going to this location. I definitely wont recommend this location to anyone.
I recommend this IHOP get better waitresses or train them better. If you forget people’s order, here’s a tip. WRITE IT DOWN. There needs to be a better way to handle people’s orders at ihop because these waitresses did...
Read moreCame here once with the coworkers. The food was great and so was the service (which is why I'm not rating it 1 star instead), but the table we sat at on the north east side of the building had some greasy stuff under it which I first got on my hands when my coworker pointed out to me that the edge of it looks like its about to fold down so I reached to see what's keeping it in place and the grease that resembled automotive grease-- black, sticky, and difficult to remove-- or eyeliner was right above my lap. I had to be careful so that I don't get it all over my pants. After going to the restroom to wash it off, I came back, sat down, reached for the bottom of my chair to slide it closer to the table and once again, more grease that once again was all over my fingers. At this point I was beyond frustrated, but tried to keep it cool sincr I wasn't the only one in there. The next day I also found some of that same grease on the back of my shoe. Honestly, it felt like I spent my lunch break in the bay of a jiffy lube. Its unaaceptable for a resturant to have this kind of...
