Surprisingly, because the food really isn't bad (at least of what I typically order here), I keep coming coming back to this location that has treated me pretty badly almost every visit. Blame it on my relationship history lol anyway, just today I ordered "2 baconator sandwiches" was asked "the combo?" and replied with "no thank you just the burgers. I will also add a small fry." Employee asked if that was all, yes it was, okay they would have the total for me at the window. Please note that the order screen is either broken or very dim and impossible to read in broad daylight, so I was unable to see what I had ordered nor was it repeated back to me and asked if it was correct. So as I arrived at the first pay window, chatting with my sister, I irresponsibly did not ask for the employee to repeat my order before I payed. He was a friendly kid and prompted me to wait for my receipt as I pulled my card out of the chip reader. And thankfully I did! My sister commented on the price "wow $10 for 2 burgers?" And I said "no remember u said the baconator was $7? Omg I think they only gave me one" :( sadly I had already pulled forward to the next window and as soon as my car stopped they were shoving a drink into my hand. But I said no no I didn't get a drink. With much surprise, the manager said "oh u just had the burger, okay here you go have a nice day" with a bag being shoved into my hand. I said "thank you but actually when I ordered I said I wanted 2 of these burgers. I just realized I wasn't charged for it." And the manager responded with "you want 2 burgers?" Without having moved at all. I replied "yes I'm sorry, I thought I was heard correctly." The window then slammed shut without any further conversation. Meanwhile, all the female employees are literally leaning against counters and staring at me. The window opens back up a whole minute later and the manager says my total is 10 whatever (I can't remember) and as my hand was already ready to hand over my payment, he grabs it and walks away as I ask "wait, that's just for one more burger?" It's started to feel real hostile now as the female closest to the window is staring me down and I am in shock. I said out loud, "or not. If it's that much of a conveience, nevermind." with the window still open. I side glance at my sister who is making the same shocked face and I'm wondering why he had my card for such a long time. I realized it WAS considered an inconvenience for them to walk back to the other window to submit my payment, and I remember my time being a drive thru employee for Carl's Jr., and in disbelief that an employee or even a manager would treat a customer like this for a mistake that could have been avoided had they done the job correctly (as I worked drive thru, i understood the importance of ensuring the accuracy of orders before payment is accepted). And when he returned with my card without a word, he walked away immediately as I had to raise my voice a little to ask "can I get the receipt for that one please?" The leaning female moved forward a bit to tell him "receipt" and waited for him to go get it and hand to her. She handed it to me and I said "thank you". I checked it out and noticed the price was the exact same as my first order. They had charged me for another burger AND another small fet, whoch i didnt ask for. I checked if it had been a reprint of my first order, but did notice the order number was different. So they really did charge me the same. I was then handed the food by the female with a "have a good day" and I said "thank you, can i get 2 ranches please?" And was handed them without any further dialogue. I typically only come here for the breakfast and they seem only slightly friendlier. But the breakfast potatoes are toooooo good to never come back 😢 you just can't get them anywhere else. I wont come back for...
Read moreI caution you all to the lack of & ineptitude of communication from the employees. Especially the supervisors or managers in this branch. Below is the account of my experience with them today 10/08/24 at 1pm.
Today is tuesday, 10/08/2024 I went in to pick up a doordash order around 1pm. I went up to the pick up counter and there was a woman there in a red shirt. I believe she was a supervisor so I attempted to ask her if she had a doordash order under the name of my customer. Before I could utter a name, she rudely interrupted me and said "I don't have any orders right now, I only have 'to-go' and Elizabeth!"
I haven't spoken a word to this woman before she interrupted me. I simply went up to the counter. I was greeted with an extremely dismissive tone and attitude. So I stood aside to wait for an opportunity to tell her the name of the doordash order that I had. More orders came in and she was preparing them. Then she started pointing at other customers incredibly impolitely, demanding names as she pointed to each person. I waited for her to ask me, but she decided two pass me up. I waited for another 5 minutes. Then she peeked around the corner wall of this counter, and she stared at me with her mouth agape. I looked at her and I asked her if I could help her, she stared at me some more with her mouth opened then said "name?" I gave her the name to which she dismissedly replied "there's no [customer name] here" and proceeded to bag orders.
I went on the DoorDash app to try and reorder what the customer wanted, and I was trying to show this woman what the DoorDash app said on my phone screen, but she just repeated that there is no order for my customer on her end. I took the opportunity to let her know that I have re-ordered as well as Doordash was to pay directly, and that was the only time that she told me that I should go to the Register to show the cashier what the order was.
I showed the cashier and that it said on the DoorDash app that DoorDash will pay them directly. However, after asking for supervisor and finding out that it was this woman who has been rude to customers, was a supervisor after all. The cashier, notified me that I had to pay for this order out of my own pocket. I asked for the supervisor to get some clarification. The girl walked towards the lady in the red shirt and came right back to me and said, I again had to pay. The prompt on my screen, specifically said to show them my screen to notify them with the order was, and that doordash was going to pay directly to Wendy's. The supervisor didn't take the time to look at what I was trying to show her to acknowledge any concerns. She decided to cancel the order, without acknowledging or attempting to resolve the issue at hands, and went back to bagging all the other orders.
I resolved the issue with DoorDash. Luckily, their customer receive the...
Read moreMy 19 year old son bought $38 worth of food for our family for dinner. Due to the pandemic, everyone but him stayed home while he bought groceries for the family and since my partner has been feeling sick and I had been working from home all day, no one was up for cooking. We figured Wendy's was a quick and cheap option. He came home with 3 full Wendy's bags and my 2 small children immediately dug in while my partner and 19 year old searched for our burgers, only there was none. My 19 year old grabbed the receipt while my boys ate their fries and nuggets. About 20 minutes later, my son called saying Wendy's refused to give us our burgers or reimburse us for it because he returned without the bags of food. He told them that his family had already started eating so he let them. They still refused. My partner then called and asked the lady who answered for her name and position. She asked why and he explained that he needed to speak with a supervisor. She put the phone down and loudly grumbled to her co-workers about the caller asking for a supervisor before hanging up on my partner. He called again, asked for her name (Nae is the name she gave) and he explained what happened and asked for either our burgers or our money back. She refused again stating that because my son didn't bring back the food, they wouldn't give us the missing food we paid for nor our money. My son was already outside much longer than what he was comfortable with. My family is fond of Wendy's and the food isn't bad but maybe don't go to this one and find a customer...
