The manager “Nicole” wasn’t nice at all she was uptight and snobbish!
I ordered a cup of soup 🍜 I asked for a few croutons to top my soup with. The server a gentleman gave me like 4 croutons lol 😂 so I asked for extra. He said yikes they charge you for everything herrrre so I gotta charge you $1
I was like heck no, please get a manager !!! I eat here all the time and have never heard of this! The manager came out looking bothered 😕 her name was Nicole. I asked her to please make an exception this one time because I had never heard of such an upcharge but to my surprise she said frankly NO!
I was shocked... I immediately demanded a refund Look it’s managers like Nicole that ruin the dinning experience what does a few croutons cost in comparison to losing a loyal customer. It was 9:55 closing , I’m sure the basket of croutons and bread would be thrown out but hey it’s the principal point! Look I’m tired of spending my money where I’m not respected! I left that CPK and will never return again! I headed it over to Panera Bread right next door ordered a bowl of soup and was treated with the upmost respect! They were kind, calm, respectful it was like night and day! I see why Panera Bread has is gaining more popularity these days. We picked up our to-go order and got all the way home, only to discover that part of our order was missing. Unfortunately, it was the side-dish to my husband's meal. I just got off the phone with Nikki, the To-Go hostess, and after waiting on hold for 6 minutes, she returned to inform me that the managers Rebecca and Ed were both too busy to come talk to me. She suggested that we come back to the restaurant to pick up the missing items. The last thing that we wanted to do was waste more of my husband's birthday evening driving back and forth to the restaurant that we just got home from. It's disappointing that a manager couldn't take 2 minutes to come to the phone, after loyal and returning customers wait 6 minutes to speak to them. Read moreI just recently tried eating at this place again. My daughter and i arrived a little after 5:30pm and there were 6 tables open. Some were in different sections, so it wasn't an issue of someone not being there to work one section of the restaurant. Any way, it took the girls in the front over 20 minutes to seat us. They stood there, talking to each other, while holding two menus. The hostess kept picking the menus up, talking, and then putting them back down again. The same tables were still open when we did get seated. I normally wouldn't care, but we had to get to a movie by 7pm. The food is very overpriced and we had to remind our waitress about the complimentary bread. She told us that the kitchen was taking forever, but I saw other waitstaff taking bread out to other tables several minutes before I asked about the bread. It had been over 30 minutes after she said she was bringing some. My pizza was good and my daughter enjoyed hers. I hadn't been there in almost 20 years and my recent visit reminded me why.
