I had a house full of people that were hungry and wanting food, so I used the app to order a pizza and after 45 minutes it wasn’t at my house. So I used the tracker and it was still in the initial prep stage. I called the store to check the status and the guy proceeded to tell me that he was the only person working tonight and all delivery orders wouldn’t be prepared. I asked if maybe he thought it might be a good idea to let people know so they weren’t just sitting there waiting for food during dinner time, and the employee proceeded to tell me how he couldn’t call me because he didn’t know which order was mine.. which doesn’t make sense on a lot of levels.. but maybe call everyone who is expecting food and tell them it won’t be coming. That would be the professional thing to do, that would also alleviate stress and probably a wave of awful calls, but also that would just be polite. After some back and forth the employee said he would just give me my order for free (which is an outdated, insincere form of an apology as my time is more important than a pizza for Pete sake) if I wanted to come pick it up, but he wouldn’t know when it would be ready due to being so far behind.. which doesn’t help me get any further to my goal of getting people fed. I finally just cancelled and went and picked up a pizza at Little Caesars, which is awful and it tasted like cardboard, yet was still more than I got from Domino's. Overall, I don’t understand the point of advertising nationally, spending big bucks on air time and marketing/advertising telling the country about their nice upgraded stores, and all their new deals but then not be able to deliver on a very simple product. Seems crazy to me. Also seems crazy that Domino's has zero support for their stores. Where is the owner? Where is a manager? Why can’t you spend a little more money on paying employees decently so they stick around? Tonight that stores entire service area got free pizza's and the stores reputation got tarnished and had a lot of business lost. Makes me wish someone even at the corporate level cared more about supporting their stores and had something in place in case...
Read moreThis store hands down has the most amazing employees ! I do prefer Domino's Pizza over any other pizza period. I have eaten Domino's Pizza for as long as i can remember . Then for the longest time and through many other store locations . I would try to order a pizza with one simple request "EXTRA MUSHROOMS " It couldn't be done . I pleaded and said I will pay the extra cost for each and every additional extra topping of mushrooms that they would put on there . And each and every store had an excuse as to why it couldn't be done . Our register only has a button that allows us to only put extra mushrooms one time that was it . I asked thy-self where has all the common sense in America gone . I started eating at other pizza places for a couple of years . And sure they would put as many mushrooms as i requested . But at the end of the day I still liked Domino's best . I figured okay i will try this again had tried over the next couple of years at the Murry location across from Fashion place mall. The Sandy location 11400 S. 700 E. Blah same problem . I started going to this store in Riverton Redwood Road and Bangerter . The miracle happened this kid made my pizza my way ! I went back the following week let them know that this store was the only store that had pulled it off and made me the perfect pizza . I think with all my enthusiasm and excitement they did it again . And to funny I get the pizza and open the lid on the cardboard box and and it was exactly the way I like my pizza . Ad I smile and look up I think every employee was looking right at me to see if they got it right . And by the look on my face they knew it was perfect . I know this is a long review and I think only the second one I have ever written. But I have to say Thank you to the employees at this location to go over and beyond to make my pizza the way I like it exellent job . Once again I am a Domino's pizza...
Read moreTerrible service. I ordered carry out through the app and was notified my order was ready to pick up. Upon arriving to the store I checked in with the cashier and was informed there was one item coming out of the oven. This was a lie however because the item they were waiting on hadn’t even been put in the oven yet which I gathered from the employees asking each other if it had even been placed in the oven. I waited an additional 20 minutes for my order that I was told was supposed to be ready 30 minutes earlier. All the while multiple customers and delivery drivers came and went. When I finally got home my pizza was luke warm at best. I understand mistakes are made but while I was waiting for my order to finish there was another customer waiting for her order with a small child that went to the counter multiple times asking about her order and finally asked for a refund since she had been waiting 45 minutes with her daughter and other family sitting outside in the car. After two employees messed with the computer trying to issue the refund her order suddenly appeared and she was told they had called out the wrong name so her order had been sitting on the shelf as well and I imagine it was just as cold as mine by the time they got home.
