UPDATE: After leaving a review, I contacted their customer service team as I've seen other negative reviews be directed there. Unfortunately, they only responded by outlining the details of the promotion—information I already understood by that point. Clearly, they didn’t actually read or address the issue I was frustrated about. Their response showed just as little care for the customer as the employees at the window did. This experience highlighted poor communication and a lack of basic customer service at every level. I was really disappointed with my experience at Dutch Bros today. My 8-year-old daughter was excited to get a hot chocolate and one of the ornaments being offered for Black Friday. When I ordered, I specifically asked the employee about the ornament, and she told me I just needed to mention it at the window to get one if they were still available.
After waiting in line for 25 minutes, I got to the window and asked about the ornament. The employee told me they still had some, but I didn’t qualify because I ordered two small drinks and the promotion required a large. I explained that I had asked about this while ordering and wasn’t told anything about needing to purchase a large. I asked if I could simply buy the ornament since it was the main reason we came. She said no and told me the only way to get one was to buy another drink.
Another employee then came over with a bit of an attitude and said the first employee gave me the wrong information, and I could look up the qualifications on their website. I was honestly shocked at the lack of customer service from both employees, especially over something as small as a holiday ornament.
I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but this experience was incredibly frustrating. It would have been so easy to find a solution or at least handle the situation with better communication...
Read moreI was so excited to finally have a location so close. My husband and I love our Dutch bros and our doggo does too. After MULTIPLE times at this location the coffee is never good! We always get the hot candy cane mocha. I don’t know if the employees are just still too new or just straight up don’t know how to make coffee. It has tasted burnt every time or like that bottom of the pot coffee taste (yes-I know it’s espresso not drip I’m just saying that’s the taste it gives off) then this last time it wasn’t even anything remotely making it a candy cane mocha…we keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but man… we will probably keep driving to Jordan Landing to make sure we get a good cup! Because until this location we had never had a bad cup of Dutch bros. We are so sad and I hope they are just going through just opening and maybe we will give them a try again in a few months. Definitely an idea to get those working at Jordan Landing to get in and train these kids though just saying. Cause they’re also super speedy too! The kids are nice and all at the Riverton location but could definitely...
Read moreTired of this location. For whatever reason they can't get a blended Rebel right and have tons of cups with splits in the sides. I kid you not...in less than 1 month we've had a good 10 drinks have to be remade or wasted because of the split.
I've spoken with the staff about these instances.....usually this is the morning staff. There are a few that are nice, but there is a core of them who are rude, dismissive, and absolutely NOT the customer oriented mentality I've found in other DBs shops.
I've reached out to the corporate email to give feedback and to-date this is still a problem.
The final straw was last week when we went, the Rebel was again not made correctly and would not be able to be made correctly so I asked them to refund the drink and we'd go to a different branch.
The charge not only still went through....but it went through as if it's TWO drinks, so now I have to figure out how to get that refunded.
Absolute incompetence. Which is shocking...and not normal for DBs as a whole, but its definitely in play at this shop...
