Apollo Burger — Restaurant in Riverton

We have been looking forward to Apollo Burger opening in Riverton. This Summer it finally finished construction and with excitement, we finally went to eat there last night. I ordered the good ole Apollo Burger combo. But to my surprise, when I received my order, I was sadly disappointed. Fries were as they usually are, and my root beer was great, but my burger was some flimsy thing. I was frustrated and wanted to go complain, but I’m not sure what the young employees would have done. Come on Apollo, you have In ‘n Out, Carl’s Jr, Shake Shack, and others just up the street. You need to be consistent to your other locations. I shared feedback with their Corp office. We’ll see if they get back to me. I had such high hopes…you’d think at a new location and for $8.50 you’d give customers a good quality burger. This is the “Apollo Burger” not the George...

I wish I could give it negative stars. This was the worse takeout meal my family has had in years. The burgers were all dry and bland, my kids could hardly eat them. I ordered a chicken souvlaki plate. It was 4 small pieces of dry, overcooked, unseasoned white chicken, fries (even though I asked for lemon rice — apparently they don’t have rice) and a few pieces of greasy pita bread bread that tasted like it was cooked in rotten oil. And a side salad that was just lettuce + dressing. Absolutely disgusting. Don’t call it a souvlaki plate, call it dry chicken + some fries. I wish we could have gotten...

The workers never heard of the concept of changing gloves when switching from working the register and cleaning and then touching people’s food. Disgusting. Cooks should be the only ones touching food and if they use the gloves for something unsanitary the gloves should be changed. The staff was respectful and food is good here but people’s health should be top priority - not saving money on gloves or the time it takes to change them. I was hoping a new place...
