Got carryout with my father we both got almond chicken the portions are half the size they used to be and the dinners no longer include fried rice but instead white rice and no egg rolls but a Costco frozen spring rolls that is virtually empty inside and also about the size of a finger not to mention as well it was about 50$ for two carryout dinners. I understand that inflation has messed things up but you can't double the price of a dinner and then proceed to remove half the meat and not include fried rice or egg rolls. If things are hard then make a quality product and then you can justify charging a premium but over charging and under delivering is no way to get people to come back. If you are hungry for Chinese and in the area try China star they are still the best around and very reasonably priced. Sad too because this place used to be the best almond chicken in the world. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for as long as a I can remember and it’s always been pretty alright but today I was appalled by how they handled their mistake. Me and my husband placed our order online and he went in to pick it up. When he got home and pulled out the contents of his bag there was his sweet and sour chicken and what should have been my hot beef and onions was instead breaded beef with sweet and sour sauce. He promptly called them to in inform them of their mistake and they insisted that’s what was ordered. They instead made me pay again for what I had initially ordered in the first place. Call in if you’re going to order. I probably won’t be going back here again for a long while, if at all.. Worst customer service I’ve ever received for an error made by the staff themselves. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. WILL LIE TO YOU ABOUT THE FOOD YOU ORDERED. This is the first time I've been unhappy with my order. I ordered a small chinese vegetable soup and a large wonton soup. My large wonton soup they used the dark veggie broth!! I knew even before tasting that someone got lazy and just used the same broth. My wonton soup looked and tasted terrible. I'm used to the clear broth that is so delicious!! I called the store and the lady kept lying and coming up with excuses and was dismissive. She claims they always use vegetable broth for wonton soup. Then claimed it was the only stock they had today. Then said the cook was new and just put touch soy sauce. I understand mistakes, but I don't like being lied to...
