Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Roanoke Rapids

Did not think I'd ever find myself writing a review for a Chic fil a let alone one for 5 stars. I was coming from out of state with a couple of family members and had to stop in this general area for gas. My siblings had stopped at this Chic fil a for some food before we got back on the road. As we were leaving our final destination, one of my siblings realized they were missing something and could not find it anywhere. We called this Chic fil a as a last resort just in case maybe they had left it there. At first, the missing item did not turn up but they said they would call us back if they found anything. Around 9:30 that night we got a call from an employee named Laurie who said she had found an item matching the description of what we were looking for. However we had a problem - it was a Saturday night and they were closing in 30 minutes, and we were about 2 hours away. We explained the issue and Laurie graciously offered to stay until we arrived so she could ensure we received our lost items. Sure enough, we arrived back to the Chic fil a (well after the 10 PM closing time) and were able to get the lost item. I love this Chick-fil-A I have come here about 10 times and out of the 10 times they have only mess my order up once and it was literally just backwards but they said that they would comp it next time I came in or put it back on my debit card so I had him Clampett well with that being said I just came in and they actually had not written down so the girl who helped me was amazingly phenomenal she was so sweet the manager who came out was amazing and they took care of me I’m sure people come for free food all the time and all but they did figure it out and take care of it I told them the date and price and I re did it exactly to the $26.16. I have tons and tons of love for them sitting in the rain snow heat and nasty to give ppl excellent customer service and food. They are out here during the covid issue and smiling and friendly. Big shout out to Brianna (I think she is a manager) and Andrea for helping me Get my situation figured out! Simply the best one I’ve been to ever I’ve been to over 30 so it says a lot. First and foremost, we received the wrong food, however we were traveling down to Florida and 45 minutes away when we found out so too bad for us. This is not the first time we received the wrong food, and the last time this happened we caught it in time. THAT Chic-fil-a was kind enough to give us a free chicken sandwich gift card for our trouble, but the only problem was we do not have any of these food establishments near my home. Sadly the card expired during covid. When we finally hit the road again in our travels, we stopped at THIS Chic-fil-a. I explained our expired gift card issue to Riley, the young man at the register. I also told him we would be ordering more than just the free sandwich. He barely made an effort to see if he could get us a pass, and instead just said we couldn’t use it. I did NOT want to make a big stink, and I asked for the card back. He did not want to give it to me. This is such a massive conglomeration…surely letting us use this gift card would have been the decent thing to do. After all, it WAS given to us to make up for Chic-fil-a’s mistake the first time.
