I was so excited to hear they opened a Chipotle in Roanoke Rapids, but was thoroughly let down, and ultimately disgusted by my experience there.
While a couple staff members said hello to me, everyone was kind of doing their own thing, and it took some time to get to where someone would take my order. Had that been my only issue, I’d have let it go, but it got worse. Multiple containers of food were low and not refreshed, and there was no pricing on the menu. The chicken container had 3/4 of a scoop left in it, and that’s what they served me. They didn’t bring out any fresh chicken, or supplement the price despite the container being low. Instead, I paid over $12 for a half served burrito.
And, oh, the pricing… I get that in Joe Biden’s America inflation ticks up daily, and that the country is falling to hell, but really? $12 for a half served burrito the size of my fist? Come on! The last time I ate at a Chipotle restaurant I got a bigger burrito for half that price — and it wasn’t but a couple years ago!
Lastly, I go outside to eat, and as I get about half way into the sorriest Chipotle burrito I’ve ever had, I find a big dark curly hair in my food.
I should have looked at the reviews before going inside. As you can see, this place isn’t doing to well with customers, and likely won’t be around much longer — which might be a good thing. It’s sad to see a brand like Chipotle not hold their franchisees accountable. I won’t be...
Read moreIf I were corporate I would shut this place down immediately. Where do I start. First my son wanted an adult large chicken and cheese quesadilla. We were told that wasn’t possible and they could only do that if it were ordered online. So he had to order a kids size which is tiny. He got 0 sides with it. It’s also dinner rush time at 7pm. I order the chicken Al pastor, they tell me they do t serve that anymore that day. They are out of: brown rice, almost out of black beans, out of the chicken, and out of the peppers and onions. I asked if I could extra chicken (I got a tiny scoop) because they were out of the veggies, and was told no and it would be an extra $3.50. They were also just about out of the Barbacoa. We get to check out and then they tell me they are out of the chips that go with the kids meal. I mean you just can’t make this up. Also, the staff manager was rude and could not give a damn that they were out of everything. Then to end it, my daughter and I went to the bathroom that had no toilet paper and overall nasty bathroom. There were boxes everywhere and it was dirty. Believe me, you do NOT want to eat here! There is a chick filet next store and a Mexican restaurant that would have been way better and probably the same price (our dinner without any drinks was $48 for a family of 5 and that’s with 2 kid meals that didn’t get chips with it. Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. This...
Read moreI visited this location around 6:39PM on 1/4/24. Upon entering, I immediately noticed disorganization and garbage particles in the dining area and the lack of customer service amongst the staff.
No other customers were in the store. I wasn’t greeted, one employee was off to the side talking to someone, one was in the kitchen near the grill and the other appeared to be working on an online order. I waited 4-5 minutes before I was greeted and someone came to start my order.
The grill appeared to be cut off and the prep stations appeared to clean indicating that the employees weren’t planning to restock the food line. Most protein options were empty with the exception of the chicken and one other which were both half full. It was 6:39 and posted hour to close was 10:00PM.
Additionally, the drink/condiment station was not stocked and the dinning area needed some attention.
I had a family member who order online several days ago in the evening. After getting home, they noticed several items were missing from their bowls. The contact an employee who stated that they ran out off items and were planning to close early.
This location is in dire need of leadership for the...
