Amazing. I was left speechless, I’m writing this review after visiting this coffee shop once. The owner, Stephanie used to work for Starbucks, after 12 years of working for the corporate siren, took what she learned, what she disliked and what she loved (coffee) and made her own business out of it. But you definitely can’t compare any of her stuff to Starbucks, she’s gone above and beyond for her customers. She started out in a food truck, and now she’s in a building. She will take care of you, hot or cold, coffee or no coffee, blended or iced, fruity or chocolate, just tell her what you like and she comes up with absolute magic. I live about half an hour away but my partner and I were in town for a doctors appointment and heard about it from a local, had to stop in because I’m a coffee fanatic, I saw an entire shelf full of coffee syrup for sale and was stunned at the display of goodies. There’s a shelf with books and a lounge area at the entrance, sofa is extra comfy too! I ordered 3 drinks and muffins, all of them were so delicious I hated leaving. I told Stephanie I had no idea what I wanted to try and I had some preferences and she made some awesome recommendations and boom, I was satisfied just like that. The best part? She makes you try your drink before you leave. If you don’t like it, she fixes you another to your preference, or something different. Her business also has a rewards point system, the more you buy, the more you earn towards free items. It’s a win-win. You buy caffeine- you get free caffeine! I stayed and chatted for a while and you definitely know you are loved and taken care of here, and she knows what she’s talking about too! Her employee’s talked highly of her as well, you can tell how comfortable and happy they were to be there. She also has business cards and is selling stuff from local businesses and handmade items. She’s raising awareness for HIV/AIDS, cancer and it’s just amazing to see the effort and love she’s put into a small building. There are paintings on the walls that someone personally took the time to paint, jewelers someone took the time to craft, body scrubs/lotions that someone took the time to perfect. Update July 2024 Skip the corporate swill. Come get the best coffee and support local. Locally roasted beans by lake Gaston Coffee just for Red Rabbit special flavor. Delicious coffee black or get a variety of latte flavors hot or iced. Refreshing drinks mixed can add in with boba flavors. Milkshakes and frappes! Delicious baked treats from Star Heavenly Treats. Gifts options to pick up for yourself or another. Where all the locals go.

If looking for a delicious coffee and caffeine pick me up along with tasty delights. This is place all us locals go. Locally roasted coffee. Just down the street from Sheetz. Best place to get your coffee any way you like it.

Love that they are open early on weekdays. Helps get caffeine fix and make it to morning meetings. They have constant rotation of fresh keto muffins and cookies. Yum. And highly recommend the autumn Chai, and Carmel apple new fall flavors in regular or sugar free.

Go chocolate bunny latte for a pick me up to get through afternoon work grind. The chocolate bunny was at the barista's suggestion. It is delicious, lovely flavor not overly sweet. I absolutely love this place!!! The owner is so sweet and such a wonderful human being. This place brings warmth and you feel welcomed with open arms! If you’re looking for a great place to get some coffee or a variety of drinks you should check out Red Rabbit coffee shop. She also has other odds and ins to purchase as well. The owner is such a blessing to the Roanoke Rapids community. This shop also has sugar free options as well so if you’re suffering with diabetes please know that there’s someone in the community who can still serve you great coffee without driving your sugar levels up!
