I was so excited to see this sign as I was passing through. I haven't had Moe's in about five years because of where I moved to and I have great memories of loving their stuff!! I stopped in having had a long journey behind me and still an hour to go so I thought I was going to pop in get a quick bite and hit the road. That was where my disappointment started.
When I ordered my food, there was one person sitting at a table in the restaurant. The person behind the counter took my order and started to make my food. He was almost finished when another couple walked in. He proceeded to put my food on the counter and make their entire large order. I thought it was weird that I was just waiting but I thought maybe he had to heat up new chips or something. 20 minutes later, my food was stone cold when I got it and my queso wascongealed. As I waited, I had had plenty of time to notice how filthy the restaurant was. The floors that I could see while waiting by the register were coated in old food. The counters were covered in food and crushed chips The Coke machine had all kinds of syrups splattered and dried on it. The salsa bar had old salsa dried and hardening around the edges on multiple places in the counter where you're supposed to fill your little cups. At this point, noticing how dirty the restaurant was, I didn't even want my food anymore. I packaged it up to take home. (To throw away) However I did think I could try a chip and that wouldn't be too bad, but it was so stale that I'm also throwing those away. Huge waste of money, time, and food. Read moreWe went to eat there on Sunday. Sorry to say that if it was being inspected by a Health and food inspector it would of not passed the test. There was a full open trash can in front of one the entrances that was still useable, the restaurant was dirty and the employees looked unkempt, and unhappy to be there. One employee did not know how to answer my question, so another decided to snap the answer to me. I did not appreciate that treatment when all I did is ask a question and it was my first time there. The counter where you put lids on your drinks was dirty covered in a mess of spilled drinks, and they did not have forks stocked. The floor was sticky as well. That is just the inside. The food was under cooked not melted , and lack luster. Also I do not think you should serve chips with every dish especially if not offering a salsa to go with it. Just seems a waste of chips. I mean they really do not go well with a quesadillas, or burritos or anything really without a dip of some sort.The outside also had cups on the ground and not kept well. Sorry but unless things improve we will not eat here again. Seemed like a waste of money and expensive to eat uncooked food, in a filthy place, and with rude employees. Read moreOn September 29th 2022 approximately 8:00pm I’ve witnessed an incident due to poor management to their own employee. I’ve noticed an employee under distress and overwhelmed this employee when to grab his free drink while an orders was being taken I currently don’t blame him for doing so. While he was grabbing his drink the manager has degraded, humiliated and embarrassed him by yelling and saying along the lines you can’t get your drink while we are serving the customers. I’ve noticed the expression on his face in fury. Just that chuckle he made which stated I’ve had enough considering his breaking point. He walked away from the machine and into the back of the restaurant and I’ve noticed him punching an object in the back out to relive his tension for my understanding. His manager continues to yell at him and told him to clock out and firing him at the same time. This is what we have as managers these days who can not handle an employee in distress and it’s obvious she did not try to understand and notice the problem and she did not give him a couple minutes to calm down and return to his duties. I believe she should be accountable for the incident and he should have his job back. Both parties are in the wrong but it can all of been handled way differently.
