It's my first time ever that I left a review, Im that kind of person that if some thing its not the way I order or food is bad I don't say nothing. Okay but today (Thursday) my friends and I went there at 11am to celebrate my birthday I did a recervation on Monday I ask for the round table they have in a separate samall room. We walk in the restaurant at 11:02 as I was walking there a received a message my table was ready and I told the person in the entrance oh I received a text that my table is ready I reserved the round one in the Little room and he said oh yes its ready for you, so we walked there and suprime there was man sitting there ok I went back to the entrance and told him someone was already in our table he and other girls were talking about what happen and saving oh I didn't know, well I ask the guy ok what do we do? He say wait a little bit. More of my friends come we were waiting close to the table so we saw a waitres went to say something to the man and he got up I didn't see where she ask him to go. We asked ok so can we go now to our table and the waitres said no wait a little, okay. Every one was nice at that point. Then came a man told us oh I that men who was sitting in that table came here first and is wait for his que people and you can sit here he started to put some tables together I told him oh I see he got up and we madera a reservation for that specific table he said oh that is not going to happen he came here first. He was not nice at all, we all notice he was rude. It was like he was already mad at someone and then came talk rude to us. So I ask him so in the future its better not to make a reservation because still if some one come a minute before me you going to get them the table? And he said oh yes its better to make a reservation if it is a large group of people, I was like really. Well I would understand if he had come in a diferent way talking to us but no. We asked if he was the manager and they told us yes he is, we were more dissapointed 👀. Were were about to leave but stayed and the food was good. His...
Read moreWe made the best out of what we could . I felt Totally disrespected. To start we did not get any breadsticks I was told they were in the oven and would be out shortly. About 10 minutes later the table beside us comes in and sits down and has their breadsticks within 5 minutes. So I gave him a few thinking they're about to come out. 8 minutes later I have to ask another waitress for my breadsticks. Second I ordered a spinach dip appetizer after we had put in our main course (which was my fault ) but as I knew it would be in after themain course and was still willing to wait he canceled it because it took too long and didn't even ask if I still wanted it. And last but not least my whole paying process was horrifying I had a old gift card which had broke when I got in there and asked if it would work (wouldn't have been an issue if it hadn't was just seeing if it could be used) so when he took the part he needed for the card and brought it back it was tossed on the table and told that I could keep it as a souvenir with an attitude .He left a platter of dirty dishes from other tables and our table ,sitting at the end of our table while he got my check and finally when he came back with the check he was whistling not have a good night,Thank you just whistled .the other waitress who had gotten my breadsticks told me have a good night so I ended up giving her $5 but the waitress who served me got nothing because his attitude was very poor and I didn't feel he deserved anything but $2 that he made an hour . I'm not sure of his name but I believe it was Anthony... Back story were a young couple with a daughter who doesn't get to go out alone often and last night was one of the few nights we had so this was very...
Read moreShannon, the general manager of the Christiansburg Olive Garden, and I had discussed a young girl's birthday. The young girl will turn 7 on Saturday, the 22nd. Shannon advised us that the Roanoke site had a private room. She acknowledged that the family is traveling from Chrisotiansburg to Roanoke, but suggested that going to the Roanoke location could be a wise choice due to the private room. We thought that was an awesome idea. However, when I called to make a reservation for 9 to 13 people at the Roanoke location, the host, Jackie, told me they do not have a private room at all. I told her that the general manager of the Christiansburg one had informed me that they had one. Jackie said, “Ok so we do have one, but we can't close it off on the weekend because we're always on a wait." She said there’s no way that they could make an exception for the young girl's party. I even promised to tip our server $100. Still no. If customers aren't even allowed to reserve your private room for special events, what use is it? Make sense of it. Before they did the remodeling, they had a family room. They shouldn’t have done away with the family room.
They also had a problem with the confetti we wanted to shower the girl with. It's unreasonable to say no confetti. I understand confetti can be slightly messy, and their concern is that it will get into someone's food, but we're being very careful, and I offered to assist during the clean up. This is not a lot of confetti, by the way. We're talking about maybe 2...
