We were visiting Roanoke for the first time. As we were walking downtown, we decided to stop in. Chocolatepaper is a really cool gift shop. Chocolatepaper is a really nice upscale gift shop and the prices do reflect that. You could spend hours in here. They have a lot of nice cards, gifts and more for any special occasion. If you love truffles, definitely stop in here. We did buy a couple of items. We would have bought a lot more but the prices were higher than what I wanted to pay. The staff weren't very friendly or welcoming. If you are visiting Roanoke, definitely check them out.

They also do a chocolate and wine tasting which I think is cool but didn't see any details. We got a dark chocolate mousse, dark overboard truffle, mint cookie, and pb cookie. I was disappointed with all of the chocolate, none of them tasted fresh. I'm not even sure if the candy is made there but could be. Some of the candy was cheap, others expensive. Based off what I got I wouldn't go back

Oh my, the employees at this store are beyond amazing! We needed personalized gifts for 75th birthday party, and they did not disappoint! So helpful! After giving information about the birthday girl, we discovered they sell sugar free candies, CHOCOLATES, and other divine sweets. It made for the perfect birthday gift, and could not tell the chocolates were sugar free. DELICIOUS! Employees also helped us find the perfect card for her.
