Maestro Pizza — Restaurant in Rochelle Park

I ordered from Maestro’s last week for the first time. I like to live on the edge so I called peak time on a busy night with a famished toddler🫣. I could tell they were busy because of all the background noise and other phone lines ringing. Christine answered the phone and she IS a doll! Absolutely so sweet and patiently answered my questions. Customer service is exceptional.

I ordered a large plain pie for my toddler who normally will only eat it from one place. I was pleasantly surprised when he ate every bite of that pizza. He loved it. It’s a good quality, standard NY style pie. He finished the pizza himself over the next few days. I ordered the veggie panini with roasted peppers added. The eggplant was thinly sliced the way I love it. I ordered the fried raviolis and they were not too greasy for a fried food. I enjoyed the sauce. I’m Italian and I take my sauce seriously lol. I loved the fried raviolis as an appetizer. Definitely ordering them again. I ordered a side of plain meatballs for my fur babies and let’s just say no crumbs were left behind! 4 meatballs came in the side for $8 which is a great value. Last, I ordered a bag of zeppoles. I mean fried dough in powdered sugar is always a winning combination. I really appreciate the smaller size of the zeppoles and the amount of powdered sugar was plentiful. Also, I was happily surprised at how many came in an order for $5.

Maestro’s is win in my household. Quality food, great customer service, bang for your buck and they got to my house in the next town fast for a busy weekend evening! OMG! They were closed for a while and I thought they were over due to covid. The other week I pass by and see them getting ready for business. So I stopped by today to get a Margarita slice and an avocado salad with chicken. Seriously, the best slice and salad I have had in ages. The pizza was fresh and doughy with all the edges crispy! It was perfect. The salad was made to order, soft avocado, fresh spinach, red onions were crisp and the tomato was divine. Bit of olive oil, balsamic and salt. It needed nothing else.
