My friend called 24 hours before last Friday to make reservations for 8pm Friday which they told us would be fine. Once we got there we were standing and waiting for someone to greet us. We waited for about 10 minutes and watched staff walk back and forth before someone finally acknowledged we were there. He asked us if we made reservations through telephone or opentable and we said we did it over the phone the day before. He insisted that we sit outside in the tent even though it was 10 degrees outside and no one else was sitting out there. We had to repeat multiple times that we did not want to sit outside. After 10 minutes a manager approached us and did not even ask us how we were doing or what the problem was. He immediately stated âwe do not guarantee inside seating: let me show you the tentâ. We were so appalled and we stated we made reservations 24 hours before, to which he responded âpeople have been making reservations since last week. You made late reservations and we do not guarantee inside seatingâ when I asked why he did not relay this information over the phone he immediately said âwe donât have to tell you thatâ with a smirk on his face. I explained that in his business the customer is always right. He rudely interrupted me and said If I made reservations a week prior, I would have had a table inside even though that was never explicitly stated on the phone to us, or else we would have never made the reservations to begin with. He was heavily pressing the suggestion that we sit outside or at the bar, where no social distancing rules were taking place. The restaurant was completely packed and did not look to be 25% capacity . When the manager was speaking with me he lifted his face shield up to speak and was wearing no mask, which was extremely unappealing as well. When we stated we were just going to leave and go somewhere else because of how rude he was being, he told us to have a nice night with a smirk on his face and said âwe donât need your business anywayâ. I told him he can give his open table to someone who made reservations a week early, âon timeâ. Iâm not sure if it was because my friend and I were young Arabic women and the restaurant was filled with elderly Caucasian people that they were treating us this way, but we did not understand why we were being treated and ignored the way we were. I would never ever recommend anyone come to this restaurant regardless of how great the food might be.. unfortunately we didnât even get a...
Read moreCelebrated my sisterâs birthday with the family. Food was extremely expensive and lacked in seasoning which defeats the purpose for fresh food. Service from our waiter was great. Altogether we had a $600 bill and tipped our waiter $100 but the owner treated, my sister like a thief when she help herself to one single flower that was already almost dead. Simple, misunderstanding on our part, and believing that the single flower left on our table was a gift for her birthday however, one the owner called us out disrespectfully and unnecessarily we put it back and he still post the situation claiming that a single rose flower cost him money, and that he doesnât mind calling the police even after she put it back and claiming that he would lie to the police saying that we still have a flower. Everything was great up until that point. We told him that he lost, great first time customers but after the owner got paid, it seemed that he didnât care at all about customer service on his end. He proceeded to telling us that he has lasted four years in this restaurant and doesnât mind getting any one star reviews for a simple, misunderstanding situation that he took overboard . It was not fair for him to treat us that disrespectfully, especially after a good dining experience, and a good relationship with the waiter. The owner should definitely take notes from his kind employees instead of proceeding to curse out his customers for a small, petty misunderstanding of a reason. The whole situation was uncalled for and childish as well as unbelievably disgusting. Definitely will...
Read moreThis place is a hot mess. We went here last night for date night and waited 40 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. We were warned by several customers at the bar to be prepared for the longest dinner ever because this happens all the time there. I asked why do you guys come here, she replied it was her husband's bday and he loved their food otherwise they wouldn't be there. I knew we should've just left right then and there. Finally got seated our server was good but holy moly it took FOREVER for our food. Over an hour which is just crazy to me for a two top. The server kept coming back saying "I told them to fire it so long ago, I'm sorry." We didn't order appetizers just a Caesar salad which came out quickly for my husband. It wasn't as if they were pacing our meal, it was just that long! Our server also told us several times the manager was coming to talk to us and never did. We spent $205.56 between our tab at the bar and finally sitting at our table. This restaurant doesn't deserve couples to come in that are willing to spend money and treat them so poorly. Although it did seem like the regulars that came in did get preferential treatment. I hope with that steakhouse going in next door it whips them into shape a little bit. I wish we would have just stayed at the bar and ate too but we were told for 40 minutes just a "couple more minutes," "just 3 or 4 more minutes." I'm sure I will get some snarky comment back from the owner/manager but they definitely need to get...
