Starbucks — Restaurant in Rochester Hills

I figure I come here so dang often, I might as well leave a review!

The staff at this location are so incredibly nice. Like seriously everyone has been truly awesome, I’m often nervous going into public places and they’ve been nothing but sweet and patient when I take a while to order sometimes 🤣. I only ever come to this specific Starbucks because I’m a regular and I love getting to see all the people I usually see :) they’re all so nice!

And I always enjoy my lil treats. I don’t drink coffee, so I usually alternate between hot chocolate and iced chai lattes, but I also like their tea lemonade drinks. Sandwiches and pastries are yummy, you know how starbucks is. I like the bacon gouda sandwich, the double smoked, the tomato and mozzarella panini… and my favorite desserts are probably the iced lemon loaf and the blueberry muffin. Most evenings I just order a drink but if I’m low on calories I like extra nourishment. Depends on what you’re in the mood for but you can’t really go wrong. I’ve tried almost everything on their food menu and I think the only item I ordered that I didn’t like was the breakfast burrito, but that’s just personal preference. (although I ate it anyway because I had eaten almost nothing at that point in the day 🤣)

Maybe it’s because I’ve come here so many times already, but it feels nice in there atmosphere wise! The seating is nice and it feels safe in there. I’ve never been through the drive thru because I don’t drive, but I can always see them working really hard behind the counter and a lot of cars coming in and out so I assume it’s as efficient as it can be haha. I usually get my order really fast, like within a few minutes. If they’re super busy, MAYBE 15 minutes, and that’s overestimating.

I come here at least 5 days a week and never have problems but lately this place has been messing up left and right. I’ve been charged for Venti drinks and receiving Grandes, then the employee blames me saying that’s not what I ordered but my tickets say Venti. She ends up giving me coupons for my money back instead of remaking them or giving me actually money back. Last two times I’ve ordered a white mocha they have given me a regular mocha which is basically hot chocolate with espresso. Today I was charged for two shots of espresso in my Chai Tea and didn’t receive any in my drink and was told I could only use my dollar coupons one at a time (which does not say on the coupon and was not what I was told when I was given them.) Then I had to tell the girl at the drive through window and I gave her too much money and needed the change back, which seemed like she had no intention of giving it to me after closing her window 3 separate times before giving it back to me. This place is really slipping when it comes to service, especially the drive through the employees have been very snappy. I’ll be happy to take my money to the Starbucks inside Target at 26 mile, super friendly staff and they don’t charge extra for...

This starbucks has a great location on Rochester Rd just north of Tienken Rd. However, parking can be difficult at peak times and the drive through line is awful some mornings. Staff is quick when it comes to making drinks and if something isnt made right they will remake it for you with no problems.

In my opinion, this location is great for quick stops and mobile ordering but the merchandise selection is less than some other stores in the area and seating availability is low most of the time. It's a small location so they can't really fix that but it's a bit of a bummer when you go in to do work and there is no seating.

Overall, I would recommend this place to people who are looking to stop in on their way to work. Mobile ordering is the quickest way to get your drink. I normally order about 7 minutes beforehand and my drink is usually...
