Came here on a Sunday at 5:30. Two other tables in there. This was our first time trying RH Social and we were looking forward to it. Unfortunately, after our experience, we will not be returning.
The place does have a great atmosphere. Music wasnât too loud, lots of windows and was great to have the garage doors open. Our waitress was Laura B per our receipt. Got our drinks fast. Cheese bread was good, not great. Pizza dough was homemade- we had pepperoni and banana peppers. Parm and red pepper flakes helped bring out the flavor. For saying everything was from scratch⌠weâve had better. However, it was an awkward and uncomfortable experience.
My boyfriend and I dined in and she was leaning over the table practically shoving her low cut top in his face. I honestly donât think sheâs even waitressed before. She came back within 1 minute to ask if we were ready to order, after we had just put in our appetizer. He asked for another beer. She came back a minute later and interrupts our conversation and says "draft king beer?" Puzzled, we respond with "what?" She came back to "make sure she rang up the correct drink and ensure I didn't want another. This is where the level of annoyed began to really rise.
The pizza arrives a few minutes later, and my boyfriend doesn't have a drink. I look at the bar and she clearly had forgotten about it, only to be talking up an older man sitting at the bar and helping him, giving him limes and drying glasses. I waited with him to eat. 7 minutes went by and no beer- pizza was getting cold. Finally had to ask another waitress who looked at us because we looked easily annoyed that he had ordered a beer and two minutes later our waitress comes by with his beer and says âsorry this took so long. The bartenders were ⌠(rolls eyes.)â I couldnât believe it. Lied right to our faces.
We had 7 pieces left of our large pizza. She comes by with entree takeout boxes and we could only fit half of it in the two boxes she gave us. Like, what?! So we ask for another box and if we can have some marinara to take home. She goes âoh you want a freshy?" okay. she asked if I wanted another drink. I said no. Then asked if we needed anything else. Replied no again. "Want any limes or lemons for your water?" As she put her hand on the back of my boyfriends chair. I said no, once again.
She comes back with a pizza box- why not bring that in the first place? Just an odd, uncomfortable, and awkward experience. But wait, theres more.
She takes our card and stands between my boyfriend and I, no joke her chest was 4 inches from our faces. We just wanted to get out of there as fast as we could. If the service was better, we would return. Even the food runner seemed clueless. We were really hoping to love this...
Read moreMy work friends and I wanted to get our families together to go see the lights in Rochester and have dinner somewhere close by. RH Social allowed large party reservations which was very appealing since there were 18 of us (12 adults and 6 kids). They do require a holding fee for the reservation of $10 a person, which to me was very acceptable. The fee could be refunded or put towards the bill.
We arrived about 10 minutes late and they were so graceful given we had strollers and kids. They took us upstairs to the private room and it was PERFECT. Everyone could move around a mingle since we were up there alone, the kids could watch different tvs, it was great. Elle was our server, she was so tentative and organized. She took orders and was able to separate our bills into many different ways. She was sweet, made great recommendations and made great jokes. She was so hospitable! The food was quick and delicious! We all are foodies and agreed their menu was great. Drinks were great as well.
We all had the best time getting together and socializing and RH Social catered to our many needs and it really made for one of the best nights with my coworkers. Couldnât recommend it enough if you are...
Read moreI went there Friday 7/28/23 with 4 other co workers. We were the only ones there for about 25 minutes when a party of 6 came in. It took awhile to get our food ordered. I asked for the burger well done and was told they couldnât guarantee that I would get a well done burger so I switched to a breakfast with wheat toast. My co-workers placed their orders and our server went to put our order in. We asked for more water but nothing came so when our server came back to tell me they didnât have wheat toast I asked what do you have? She said we only have sour dough. I said ok I guess Iâll have sour dough and asked if we could have more water please? She then went to another table of 6 people without bringing us any water. Our food came and I asked for salt and pepper, to no avail and no water. Mind you 11 people in the entire place with 4 servers and couldnât get more water. Food was ok but service was lacking. Disappointed to say the least! All 5 of us agreed -...
