I have thought long and hard before making this review. We seen things we shouldn't have seen inside a restaurant and I haven't been able to get over it. We have ate here on 2 other occasions and loved it so went in to order it to go home. We ordered the big family meal that was over $50. Soon after ordering and paying we look over and see and elderly poodle on one of the dining tables in the room. It looked like other papers and things around so I figured the woman was sitting there with her dog in between customers. She had said how old he was etc. And we shared our love for dogs as well and I tried to just ignore the fact a dog was even in there on a table. Approx. 2 mins later while we are still talking...the dog takes a huge struggling poop on the table while staring at us in the eyes. Omg I just froze. It stunk so bad. I didn't know what to do. My hubby said "oh no he had an accident." She apologized a lot and cleaned the table up. She then washed her hands in front of me and showed me her hands to give me some "reassurance" they were washed before she plated and bagged up our food. We walked out of there laughing and thinking how messed up this all was. We were in disbelief all evening. We did eat the food. Her hands were clean. Food was alright. But omg this is forever burned into my mind and I will never go back!!! If the elderly dog needs to be there with you...have it in a kennel out of sight in an office or something. Not on a dining room table. We didn't get any refunds or partial refunds. Now looking back...if I were her I would have refunded the entire order to the customers if they still even wanted the food...this has been hard to type because I do not like bashing restaurants. But this was all the truth and it's still messed up in my head I needed to get it out because...

Chicken was like rubber for a Fattoush salad - microwaved from frozen & placed on a grill to char it. Salad loaded with pita chips, very little greens. Poor quality. Prices remain remarkably higher than area's competitors: $30 for 2 meatless appetizers. Last visit - they have lost an old customer.
JAN 2022 - For the Rochester Hills Location. I'm on old customer of both this location & Southfield & love the quality. As of 1/12/22, a Fattoush Salad & Baba Ghanooj is $32.....$32? Salad vegetables, eggplant, garlic, etc. have not doubled in price based upon my recent & multiple produce purchases at Vince & Joes, Nino Salvaggios or Pappa Joes. Some commerce sectors in our country have chosen to raise prices that aren't truly justified - "due to Covid". I'm greatly disappointed that a salad & pureed eggplant is considered...

My family order food here the first time and it was absolutely delicious. As a heads up right now, they don't have sides of falafel available, which is unfortunate. We ordered online and there's a notice that says something along the lines of "Prices will change in accordance with Menu".... and the bill came out to be like $10 more on pickup. Again, delicious food, but that rubbed me the wrong way.
They also have this huge stack of Styrofoam containers blocking the glass window so you can't see the kitchen, and it makes me skeptical on what's happening behind there. Clearly food Magic, but still.
I'd definitely go again, but ignore the $10-20 price range and go before 4pm for their lunch items. You're not walking out of there without a $30 meal, and their lunch items are the items that are the most...
