The Sound Advantage — Local services in Rochester

I’ve been going to The Sound Advantage for about 30 years, and I can tell you that Leo and his team will not disappoint you. From the very first stereo system I installed many years ago to my recent new Home Theater in my lower level they designed, I have always felt secure knowing that I was working with an exceptional and experienced team . The planning for my new Home Theater started about a year ago with a complete new build/remodel. The system includes McIntosh equipment, Paradigm CI Elite Series in-wall speakers, Paradigm’s flagship Signature Sub 2 sub-woofer (amazing!) and the best Anthem processer they make . Well, all of this and the end result of this new project even makes my wife happy every time she is in our new space, whether watching a movie or playing music. Almost as much as the great sound and picture we now have, is the ease of use with the universal remote Leo programed for our whole house Sonos system as well as the entire lower level. It’s taken me some time but I believe I have finally learned to appreciate the incredible nuances of listening to great music played through higher quality stereo equipment. The challenge, however, is trying to find viable solutions to building a stereo system worthy of playing great music (both vinyl and through streaming platforms). It is an absolute quagmire if you try to do it on your own going through the Internet or, even worse, going into places like Best Buy or Walmart. If you love music, and I mean really love music, then do yourself a massive favor and head to this incredible store and ask for Bill to assist you. Leo has 1 of the nicest audio and visual stores I have ever been in,as soon as you walk in the door,you know that you're in the right place. I went in just looking for some quality speaker wire and banana clips, I walked out with a new Marantz amplifier and Integra AVR, plus all of the cables and clips I needed. Sound Advantage is exactly what we are lacking in this age of internet buying.
