Due to the closing of our regular go to hang out we decided to venture out a bit and ended up at Midtown's. We lucked out stopping by and enjoying a great night out. For having a small foot print the layout is well used with a mixture of booths, high top tables, a long bar as well as other seating and entertainment areas including 2 pool tables. After taking a booth we were quickly greeted by friends personable staff. After a quick look at the menu and a less than short wait we not only had our drink orders but food in a less than average time. The diverse crowd makes everyone feel just as welcome as the staff. The food was more than expected and a nice surprise. We also were lucky to have the live entertainment of Bill Farmer playing a solo acoustic set of a mix of country, classic rock, and even some crowd requests. I finally had the chance to try Muldoon's, and I was pleasantly surprised. The interior was cozy and inviting with a large, well-stocked bar and plenty of seating. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with a mix of regulars and newcomers.

I ordered the lunch special, a personal-sized ham and mushroom pizza, which was absolutely delicious. The crust was thick and chewy, and the sauce was flavorful. I also enjoyed chatting with a friendly regular at the bar.

So I brought someone back for a dinner pizza, and we had the "Muldoon's Special" and a couple of cokes. As before, the pizza was very tasty, and our waitress, Shelby, was attentive.
