Noorjahan Indian Cuisine (Rochester Hills) — Restaurant in Rochester Hills

Came here with four other friends for a meal last week and was very happy with the food. This is one of many locations for Noorjahan restaurant. Being a newer location in Rochester Hills, it was not terribly busy and we were waited on by a manager as well as another young man. Some people came for take out. I had lamb seekh kabob platter and chicken biryani which was delicious. Friends had butter chicken, chicken karahi and chicken tikka masala (delicious but my friends are so basic right?). We also had butter naan and raita. Prior to the meal we had veggie pakora (like fried vegetable tempura). The pakora was tasty and crunchy, but a bit too oily for my liking. On another note, their lunch specials look like a great value! All in all I would definitely come back and do recommend...

This place is amazing!!! And most of all, they serve halal food!!! 🙌🏾✨ That was very important to me, as I had been on the hunt looking for good restaurants that served halal food for awhile now and decided to try them out late one night! I was amazed by their delicious food and warm, kind-hearted staff! Their Chicken Tandoori???? Absolutely AMAZING!!! Let that be the first thing you try if you're wondering what to get!! Their Lunch Box with chicken curry, rice, and mixed veggies was outstanding as well! Today I ordered the Chicken wings and Chicken Wrap, and both were very delicious too! A friend and I had lunch here, ordered matar paneer, saag paneer, and garlic naan to share. It was so delicious! We're white and can't spice, but we both adore Indian food, so we asked for no spicy. Our kind server was worried we wouldn't like the food, I think; we loved everything! The flavors were so good: turmeric, garlic, ginger, the creamy sauce, the perfectly cheesy crisp outside and soft inside of the paneer, and the garlic in the basmati rice.
