I stopped into this location because I had to stop at a nearby store and my son received a free meal coupon from his school. First upon arriving and the person behind the corner was really hard to understand. I informed them I want one entree and a side. I also showed them the card to get a free meal. She played a large entree, which I thought was weird for the free entree and added extra meat. I get to the cash register and the cashier informs me that the free meal is for a kids meal. I informed her I told them serving the food and she said the gentleman helping was new ( what about the main woman assisting me?) I could have told them to put the large entree back but I figured what the heck I'll eat some since I didn't order anything for myself..So the cashier tried to scan the card but it was not scanning so I assume the person that came over (Asian decent) was the manager. He tried to scan it and then told me I couldn't use the card cause it said on the bottom of the card to order online or using the Panda Express app. I explained to him no where on the card did it say "Only use online or on the app". Actually in the fine print, it says "Valid only at participating locations in-store and via Panda Express website and app". We went back and forth about this, like he can not comprehend. Until I decided to not get the kid entree. However I got the rest of the food and realize they charged me for extra meat I didn't request. I have never experienced such a thing in all my times of going to fast food restaurants. Oh and offered to give me the drink, which I found that to be funny. I will never visit this...
Read moreI convinced myself any panda is a 5 star for me since they manage to land comfortably between the two most important things about eating out. Most restaurants can only do one or the other. Panda manages to offer both fast and quality food at the same time. Not an impossible thing to achieve, but impressive nonetheless. This panda has probably been the first one I've visited than managed to deceive me though. The food is there, but that's all I feel like I can say about it. The trick with this panda is they seem to sacrifice quality with how busy they are. If they're not busy, they leave their food out to decay. Giving it the benefit of the doubt, I understand this is a new location, so they might not have a formula yet for how much food they should be producing depending on the day and time, but a shelf life would both hurt them financially and benefit them through quality. Clearly they are willing to sacrifice quality. Again, huge fan of panda express but this one specifically needs to come with some advice. Only come when they're busy. Look at their popularity times and decide based on that. Only then will it feel 4-5 star. Otherwise,...
Read moreAlways so rude over the phone. Andrea tells me to order through their app because they don't take orders over the phone. 2p mins on the app, only to find out after inputting 5 different meals that it deletes the previous entry. So I called and spoke with Andrea and she tells me that group ordering doesn't work on the app. How useless and how rude for you to tell me to do it on the app and you know it doesn't work!! Then she says it's a 3rd party app, but I still can't place the order on the phone per company policy. I told her someone had to fix something. Either fix the app or take orders on the phone. I told her she could run my credit card and Andrea said she needs a picture ID. But on the app, you don't use a picture ID so what's the difference? The difference is lazy employees. Their food is so-so, their price is so high for the low quality of food. The only good thing is they offer low calorie meals. But this location is always sssuuupppeeerrr slow when you go in. Takes forever even for 2 meals. Plenty of other places to choose from...
