This store used to be one of my favorite places to shop because they have everything I need under one roof ... however , ever since the last store remodel customer service has gone down hill and I truly loathe shopping here . The only reason I still shop here is because it is my elderly moms favorite store and we save money w/ special discounts .
Tonight was especially bad , and Iâll be calling the district manager and cooperate offices tomorrow to file a formal complaint . The new policies as far as rushing customers out of the store after 9:00 pm when the store is technically open until 11:00 pm are absolutely outrageous! We were stuck going thru the customer service / return line w/ almost $300. worth of product because all of the other lines with cashiers and conveyor belts were * CLOSED * ummmm, hello, have you ever tried to load that much stuff onto the regular counter ? I had a full shopping cart and my mom was sitting in one of the electric handicapped carts w/ a full basket as well . The cashier purposefully overloaded all of our bags - she put way to much stuff in each shopping bag & I had to take stuff out & tell her to put it into another bag . Iâve worked as a cashier before and I was trained on the proper way to load bags and no one at this Target location seems to know how to do it . They rather close registers down early and make people wait in long lines while all staff is out on the floor cleaning ......
I really dislike this store and think Target as a whole needs to relearn the value of their customers and remember that customers that get good customer service are happy customers and can make a store / company ..... also customers that get bad service and are unhappy can break a company ........ I honestly wouldnât shop here any more if it werenât for the discounts .... I would rather go across the street to Meijer and give...
Read moreI SPECIFICALLY left my house on Friday evening May 13th to go pick up some items at the Rochester Hills, MICHIGAN Target. I could have went to Walmart or Meijerâs, but I chose Target!!
Unfortunately, when I arrived I was told, âweâre not letting anyone else in because of everything that is going on.â
There is a weekend carnival set-up in the Parking Lot that is sharing space with Target. This Carnival was obviously coordinated planned and coordinated with the city police, shopping plaza etc wayyyy in advance.
Not to mention, this is a YEARLY entertainment attraction that comes to town.
It is UNACCEPTABLE to close the Rochester Target store early without alerting your customers via updating business hours on GOOGLE Maps, website, email or some form of communication that youâre closing early instead of your regular shopping time of 10pm.
Shame on you Rochester Target! Shame on your management team, poor leadership, planning and communication.
Hopefully next year you will anticipate the increased traffic to your store during this yearly Carnival and hire some experts to help you avoid missing thousands of dollars in revenue because you are closing the store earlier than normal...
Read moreIâve been shopping at this location for years and have never really had a problem until today. I was completing a Shipt order for a customer today, and they requested 4 big packs of Ice Mountain water bottles. The customer really wanted this brand, so I asked an associate if she could please check the stock room. She used her scanner to check, and then said, âWe do have them, but theyâre up on a pallet and I donât really have anyone to do that, sorry.â Frustrating to know that I could have gotten what my customer needed but no one could get it apparently. Then Iâm at check out, putting jugs of water on the belt, and the cashier snarkily says to me, âGreat, now I have to move all of these.â I had just worked an 8 hour shift prior to this, so I wasnât thinking about how it would have been easier and smarter to just have him scan 1 and insert the quantity. Still, donât think that warrants a complete rude comment, especially from someone whose literal job it is to scan and bag items. Iâve had plenty of good experiences at this Target, but most of the associates could really use a crash course in basic respect and...
