Super disappointed in our experience tonight at this location. After being regulars for years, tonight we had a horrible customer service experience.
We came in at 9:40 to dine in. We heard someone shout across the counter area “carry out only!” And they indirectly told us we would be rushed. The order taker said, “you need to order it as to-go but you can dine in anyway if you want to.” Someone else got out the vacuum and plugged it in as we waited for our food. It was more than 10 minutes before we received our food.
When we received our food, the same person, Natalie, who originally told us we could dine in, handed us our food in a to-go bag and said we need to leave.
As a paying customer, a regular for many, 5 years, who paid $50 and with a child with us who just finished a little league baseball game before we came in, to be treated this way is absolutely terrible.
Every single employee was rushing their closing duties, vacuuming while people were still dining.
When we spoke with Emmy afterward, one of the managers, she was really unaccommodating, not concerned at all with the experience we had, had no empathy, and incredibly dismissive. Her response was “well what do you want me to do about it?” As a manager, you should be empowered to do a lot.
We have loved dining at Culver’s for more than five years, and we have never had a negative experience at this location. It used to be a very friendly and accommodating fast food restaurant, with employees that were polite and kind, similar to Chick-fil-A. It was a step above the regular fast food restaurants, and it was family-friendly and comfortable as a go-to option. Now, it truly just feels like a hostile Dump.
It is unfortunate, because the new one in Clawson does not make the food as good as this one does. Unfortunately, Customer Service has went out the window at this Rochester location . I would advise anyone reading this to not dine at Culver’s. We do not recommend...
Read moreHello, I actually love this restaurant!! I’m not going to lie, the food is good staff is normally above and beyond. But today I visited the store as a dasher and not a regular customer and I most definitely felt discriminated against. I could be wrong but my reasons for writing this review it to fix these kinds of issue in my community. I came in the collect an order. Of course the lady at the counter was amazing, I was on the phone with my sister so I wasn’t paying much attention. (Remind you I waited nearly 10 additional minutes for my order) no problem. The lady at the front desk even updated me periodically on the status of my pick up order. So when it was finally done, a lady came from the back to hand me the order. She looked me in my eyes then pulled the order back as if she was with holding it, as if I was going to steal it if she didn’t. Or I don’t know what the reasons is, or if The company told her to treat customers that way when they are a delivery service. But I didn’t appreciate it. I know this is protocol (asking to confirm the order before picking it up) but at the same time, that was invented because people was stealing orders, and getting wrong orders. I didn’t match that description. And it wasn’t them kind of circumstances. So I want to say add a sign if it’s protocol and make sure everybody is treating each other the way they wanted to be treated again I could be wrong but I wanted to share...
Read moreFood is usually always hot and quick at least at this location can't say that about the Roseville location Roseville sets a very low standard I'm tired of having to send that my food back because either the shrimp the fish the burger or the fries are cold but that usually doesn't happen in Rochester Hills. But when you order a burger and fries and what are the items is lukewarm? And you send it back such as what just happened to me today, my French fries were lukewarm. They were more interested in getting the all the cold fries back instead of rushing me a new order. A hot fry so I could eat a hot burger with some hot fries. At that point I just ate the cold fries. I'd rather have a hot burger and cold fries than a cold burger and hot fries, because those are the only two options the way culver's, does it. They act like I'm the French fry thief, and I'm trying to scam that an order of French fries that cost them about 2 cents. They should focus on getting the hot food to the customer that should be their number one focus. So that I can eat a hot burger and a hot fry and not worry about getting their cold fries back Before they bring me the hot fries. By then my burger is cold. This is something they do at all culvers, and it's very unnerving and upsetting, it ruins the experience, but overall covers, I believe, is the best burger and fry option in michigan, you wanted my updated review...
