Funny I called the bar the next day and left my name and number w the bartender asking the owner to call still haven't heard anything. And after ur post it's apparent that either the response was from the incompetent manager or the owner doesn't know to treat customers like the manager. I would think that the owner could have called me instead of posting a response to my review. But I guess he figures it would be better to attack a past loyal customer instead of talking with them to try to rectify things. Not a good way to run a business especially while ur expanding but losing customers

First of all I'd like to say bartender was great. She suggested we order the nachos as they have "huge " portions. We ordered a small for 12$ (which I thought was expensive) and was brought out shortly after. The nachos were served on a platter and as we began eating them we noticed the meat, which was very sparse and cheese only covered the top layer. So basically we had a pile of nacho chips. A short time later the bartender asked how the nachos were and I told her there was hardly anything on the chips. She looked at the platter and said "your rt, they usually look better than this" A short time later a man came by probably in his mid 30's I guess he was the manager and asked about the nachos I voiced my disappointment in the food and he gave me a bunch of excuses. Then he said woukd u like me to bring u some meat and cheese to add to it wth. I told no it's just very disappointing that there was hardly any meat and cheese on them. Further telling him I had been coming there for nearly 10 years and this was the worst meal I've had there. The manager looked at me and said "I'm sorry" never offering to do anything and walked away. Shortly after we asked for the bill and did not receive any discount at all. I will never go back to RJ's again.
Manager was incompetent and didn't seem to care about anything. He also has no ability to make decisions and hasn't got a clue on how to take care...
Read moreI would really love to like this place... After a long break from terrible service during the summer, we gave it another shot this evening. There is an obvious disconnect between the waitstaff and the customer.
We ordered drinks and sandwiches, which were mediocre at best. Meh, we knew that we were not going to a fine dining place. As soon as we finished eating the waitress brings over our tab, it wasn't even busy. I was looking forward to ordering more food and drinks as we were just settling in.
Maybe this is how the girls are trained here? Quick turn over on tables? IDK what it is but if I'm going to a restaurant, I'm going for the service. I can get food that lacks at a fast food joint.

Correct, this is my first Google review. Congratulations, your team obviously earned the honor, it must come from management? You have also been condescending to ever other negative review as well. Obviously asking why your customers didn't ask for a manager is redundant. It looks like the same issues exist.

She had come to set down our drinks and realized my husband's was missing so she asked what he ordered and left to get it. Meanwhile, one of the people in our party realized she might have gotten the wrong drink but she was sure because it was her first time getting the beer and she didn't know what to expect. We all did some looking and sniffing and realized she'd gotten my husband's drink by mistake, so when the waitress came back with a second of my husband's drink we explained what happened and could she please bring the correct drink for our friend. The waitress looked at us and asked so why did she take the drink if it was wrong? And we said because you set it in front of her and she didn't know until she sipped it and until we all looked at her drink that she must have gotten the wrong drink. The waitress looked at us like we were lying but finally took the drink away and eventually brought our friend the one she was supposed to have. We all looked at each other so confused...like if she was the one who served the wrong drink why blame it on my friend who took a sip from it? It's not like she drank the whole thing and then said this wasn't what I ordered ... Anyway the meal and beer were great otherwise...just a strange experience with...
