I first visited this sushi restaurant on my birthday last year, and I was so glad my husband brought me here. Small and cozy, this restaurant has a great vibe.
We visited for dinner again a couple of nights ago after work and we were the only ones there. It was nice being the only guests, we were really able to take in the whole dining experience.
We were greeted by an older woman who sat us at the same booth we dined in on my birthday. We were given water and a hot towel to wipe our hands, which is a very nice touch.
She also took our napkins from our glasses and placed them on our lap for us, great service!
We were starving so we ordered the coconut shrimp and steamed gyoza appetizers.
The coconut shrimp came with five good sized pieces, and the honey mustard on the side had a nice spice to it that complimented the sweetness of the coconut.
You can get the gyoza steamed or fried (we opted for steamed). Packed with flavor, I was wanting to order another serving!
We each got three rolls, and our eyes were way bigger than our stomachs! You can really taste how fresh their sushi is.
Our sushi was served in a big bamboo boat, which I thought was hilarious. I felt so gluttonous eating a boat full of sushi, but we laughed it off and had fun joking about it.
I highly recommend checking this place out if you...
Read moreMy wife and I had Take Sushi for the first time today. We ordered carry out during the pandemic. The woman that took my order took the time to read the order back to me. She was very pleasant and kind.
The entire meal was delicious. The sushi was fresh and prepared beautifully. The menu seemed neverending with more options and combinations than I've seen on a sushi menu.
However, what I was most impressed with was the way the restaurant was set up to keep the staff and their customers safe and healthy during the pandemic. First of all, the seating area is completely closed off by a plastic partition that has a cutout just large enough to hand customers their meal and take payment. They have a small table with hand sanitizer, hand wipes, a sign with a really nice message on it, a note about storing your credit card on file, and...get this...two cups filled with pens - one with unused pens and the other with used pens. When you sign your receipt, you use a pen from the unused cup and when you're done, you put it in the used cup. The restaurant sanitizes the used pens and replenishes the unused.
This is next level service and they've gained a...
Read moreI regret to inform you that my recent experience at a listed sushi place was immensely disappointing, as the quality of food and service has drastically declined. Despite my late ordering time, I firmly believe that sushi should be served fresh and meticulously prepared, which was unfortunately not the case here. The cucumbers in my sushi were roughly cut with large, unappetizing pieces of skin left on, and the avocado was overripe to the point of being mushy and slimy. This alarming lack of attention to the freshness and quality of ingredients has raised serious concerns regarding the overall standards of this establishment, making me hesitant to trust the freshness of the fish and other components of the sushi. Sadly, based on this unsatisfactory experience, I have decided never to patronize this restaurant again and felt compelled to share my experience to caution potential diners considering this establishment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and helps improve the accuracy and reliability of restaurant reviews and ratings on...
