Gordon Food Service Store — Local services in Rochester Hills

Why go to Sam's or Costco when you can pay twice the price at GFS? There's nothing in the store that I can't get way cheaper from Kroger. And when everybody began to inflate prices, GFS should have kept original prices because quality and freshness is a joke. And produce at GFS, well I needed a bag of lemons and every bag had at least one rotting lemon in each one. I really don't know how they could stay in business. Restaurant owners who shop here, straight up dummies! Recently made last trip and decided I'm never going back. Simple item that I paid $5 for 2 years ago, now is $9. Amazon prime! I bought the same can of nacho cheese from Amazon for 8 bucks less than GFS. Just saying, do your research and homework. It's not like we all get pay raises to keep up...

On thanksgiving eve.. i was lots of miles away from friends and family picking up a grocery order at gordon food. While loading my jeep the wind shut my door and locked me out. With only 2hrs left to shop & 20% battery i was so in trouble. The staff allowed me to wait inside store, they let me use the iPhone charger!! They were so helpful and nice from the time i walked in to the time the tow company unlocked my jeep!! The manager put my items in freezer that I didn’t load in jeep! Good selection but was annoyed with a pre-order of ice cream. I went in a day ahead and they confirmed they had everything. When I went to pick up, they were missing two of the selections that we requested. After telling me they would be in stock.
