Very unhappy with the service received by Anmar. I came in with my family and he seemed like a decent person over the phone, additionally this location is only 5 minutes away from our home...
In person, Anmar is the complete opposite character- after telling him that I wanted the most economical plan for my phone while declining all the routine options that AT&T reps are supposed to initially present, this diminutive Himar adds me to the 'protect advantage plan', 'next up plan' and signs me up for the most expensive monthly plan- THANK goodness for AT&T customer service- they were able to reverse all the upcharges that Anmar tried to deceptively pathetically sneak onto my account.
Anmar is not professional at all- he's sneaky and his primary goal is to upcharge your account behind the scene, apparently all for his own benefit- can't wait let AT&T corporate know about this shady tactics! SHAMEFUL ANMAR!!!
REPONSE TO 'Owner' 12/11/23- thanks for the completely useless, cookie cutter response in regards to ANMAR's shady tactics, referencing a 'LEADERSHIP TEAM' (LOL!!!!). Based on other, multiple complaints from this particular location (WHICH is independently owned/operated) concerning other customers who have similarly discovered 'surprise', unrequested/approved UPCHARGES, I'm convinced that ANMAR and perhaps other reps. at YOUR store are INCENTIVISED to upcharge as many customers as possible WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT all for the glory of the almighty DOLLAR BILL.....I'm currently in communication with AT&T corporate to ensure that my complaint is followed up on (and in hopes of making others aware of the DISHONEST tactics exhibited by ANMAR and likely other reps. @ the Walnut location in Rochester Hills) as this is just is NOT good business practices/fair to unsuspecting...
Read moreWatch our for 'ANMAR S.'! Initially he seems nice/well spoken, but when you meet him in person (and later after he setups up your account) the horrid customer service and lack of professionalism will stick out like a sore thumb!
For starters, the guy doesn't make eye contact, he likes to look at the counter most of the time as he focuses on how many additional services (that you blatantly and clearly DECLINE) he can add. Furthermore if you're setting up a trade in, don't be surprised if he doesn't even bother to set that up, as you'll see when you get charged a grand or more for a new phone!!! His main priority seems to make your visit as EXPENSIVE as possible while ensuring to repeat how many times a '5 star review is very important to him'
I made sure to wait a good amount of time before even considering to review my experience with this shameless sales person and I'm glad a I did- as the weeks passed, I learned that the optional services/upgrades (that I had clearly declined repeatedly while in the store) were actually added on to my account WITHOUT my consent, trade in of old phone was NEVER setup, and I was put on the highest monthly plan possible!!! Oh, and after I had learned all of this I made sure to spend ample time in locating my aging AT&T text asking me to review my in store experience Anmar/Napoleon (he did NOT get his coveted 5 star review that he had been repeatedly begging for- in hindsight this pathetic commission/5 star review hungry hourly wager worked hard to earn the complete opposite rating! LOL).

Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. First I was not greeted when I entered, instead I was gawked at for atleast 30 seconds then Jacob told me someone would be with me shortly. I waited at the register, Alexis approached and asked how can she help me. I told her I was interested in a business account, she then asked what was my business and where was it. I answered. She then asked did I have supporting documents, I pulled them out my bag. Jacob was flagged down and he looked over my paperwork and then said they would start the process. Alexis started the application but failed miserably. She couldn’t even enter my tax id in properly, she didn’t want to help me and she profiles me before I even opened my mouth. She then told me that my tax id kept saying error and that I should go to another store. Does ATT know you guys are turning away business accounts? They do now. You both should be fired for incompetency and judging me based on my skin color. Alexis also snapped a picture of me and my husband as we were leaving.
