Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Rochester

Walked over to this location was at window waited a few minutes(the attendant was on her personal phone during this time). She looked at me pretended not to see me then back at her phone. As I looked for a bell or something I then noticed a small doorbell button. I pressed it then she turned and walked towards window. She opened it, it seemed dead so I asked if I could order or if they closed, she said well this is walk up so yeah go ahead and order. I did so. She never took my phone number for perks (I just started rewards account earlier through app. today with Caribou. So I'm still new to their system). Then i got a bag, she said drinks will be done shortly. I checked bag and found I was missing a sandwich to which I had to get her attention again, then told her. She then checked with her coworkers and came back to window. She tried taking bag back to look herself and I offered and ended up taking the food out myself for proof it was indeed missing (as I don't like concept nor want someone who's been handling money and touching everything under the sun, to then touch my food.) She got a bit of an attitude but told person in kitchen area to make one. I waited even longer, then as i was waiting, 2 more people walked up. She opened window then told me to move & to wait elsewhere. I also didn't get my receipt. The person making drinks wasn't wearing gloves either. The food was also burned and 1/2 adhered to wrapper. Overall rude service and a negative experience. Not a great or even a good first impression for Caribou company. I'd give negative stars if I could. I wish I could give zero stars, I just wasted five bucks including tip on NO coffee. MY ORDER WAS SO SIMPLE, REGULAR COFFEE HALF AND HALF STEAMED EXTRA HOT COUPLE OF SUGARS.. THE COFFEE CAME OUT LUKEWARM APPARENTLY IT WAS NOT STEAMED AT ALL AS THE COLD HALF AND HALF MADE THE COFFEE COLD THAT IS THE REASON YOU STEAM THE HALF AND HALF BY ITSELF. THEY WENT BACK AND MADE ME ANOTHER COFFEE WHICH WAS HOT BUT THE COFFEE WAS NOT STEAMED AT ALL AND HAD NO CREAM THAT MEANS THEY JUST POURED ME A NEW CUP OF COFFEE NO CREAM NO SUGAR NO NOTHING.. SO I PROCEED TO LET THE YOUNG LADY KNOW HEY THIS DOESN'T HAVE ANY CREAM IN IT. SHE PROCEEDS TO GO TO THE REFRIGERATOR GRAB COLD CREAM TO POUR DIRECTLY INTO MY CUP... 🤔... Nothing personal but you have four young ladies in there who's not the most savvy on how or what to do. You really need someone in there with more experience and who takes pride and what they do it's that simple I am totally flabbergasted I left both of the coffees there and tell them don't worry...

The first time I went to this Caribou, the staff was so friendly and upbeat! I figured it was just a good day. Well today was my third time back and every visit has been the same, no matter who is working at the time. When asked what I'd like to order, today I said I was going to have my first pumpkin spice latte of the season and I could hear cheering coming from inside the building. 🤣 It's so nice to experience such positivity.
