Culver’s — Restaurant in Rochester

I absolutely love eating here! The food is always delicious, the employees are always cheerful and friendly, and the service is prompt. I could have the flu with a fever of 103°F, and still want their food! They are the ONLY fast-food restaurant I can say that about. I don't even like calling them a fast-food restaurant, because people's minds usually jump to places like McDonald's; it's a dirty word. They are DEFINITELY no McDonald's! McDonald's even doesn't hold a candle to Culver's, but they wouldn't have to. If McDonald's and Culver's were people, McDonald's would be struggling to light said candle, and Culver's would build them a fire, wrap a warm blanket around McDonald's shoulders, set them up in a cozy recliner, and ask them if they can get them anything to drink; water, tea, or perhaps a delicious milkshake. I love Culver's, I love this location, and I frequent here during my lunch breaks. Lunch is never disappointing with Culvers, and their wonderful service can turn a bad day completely around! My favorite burger is the Culver's Bacon Deluxe Double 🍔❤. I also love their Original Chicken Tenders, North Atlantic Cod sandwich, Wisconsin Cheese Curds, and their onion rings! Their milkshakes and frozen custards are absolutely fantastic, and can make anyone feel nostalgic! I had been driving all day, and my brain was fried. I saw the Strawberry Fields salad, and was grateful for the healthier (ish) option. Placed my order after forgetting what I planned on asking the cashier.

When my salad arrived I picked off a strawberry to taste and...oh no. I looked closer at the salad and remembered what I was going to ask the cashier: Does the salad have bleu cheese, and if so, can I opt out of it? I tried to pick out the clumps of cheese and realized that bleu cheese is damn near impossible to remove.

I was so tired, and hungry and was going to just eat the chicken when I remembered that I'm an adult, who has worked customer/food service.

I spoke with a cashier who grabbed his manager. I asked if there was any way I could exchange my salad for a new one, because I messed up and forgot to ask about bleu cheese. The manager (whose name I forgot the second I sat down to write this review) ordered me a new salad (with cheddar), and saved my day. At least, my dinner.

I want to make sure that the manager at this Culver's is recognized for her amazing customer service. ...even though I forgot her name. So! If you are a Manager at the Culver's in Rochester with blonde hair and kind smile, thank you again. Our interaction is definitely a highlight of this...

Let me just say that this place is off the charts! 😎 I say that for many things when it comes down to this place, especially the the burgers and shakes, but the way that they keep their standard of this is phenomenal, the way they keep the freshness of the food 🍔🍟🍤 is outstanding! Seriously, they don't jip you from having a nice portion and enjoying it was phenomenal and definitely for the fact that you can look at the food and it looks nearly 98% of what you would see on the Culver's commercials 🥲... It was hard to find really, the taste is definitely there and your options are very well available but it's not too overwhelming, the shrimp battered 🍤 is amazing 🤩... Everything we ate was with happiness and we were smiling before we even had a chance to take our 2nd bites lol. Just nodding at of each other, my fiance and I because we knew already that this was going to be our go-to spot even more so than ever. I've had this over the last few years that I've gotten a chance to stop in but lately I've been returning over and over.
