On 7/18 I literally waited 17 minutes to get my food. They had me pull up to the third window and only two cars came through the line behind me that got their food at the second window. Just as I was finally getting my food two other cars had pulled behind me to get their food at the third window. The employee that brought my food offered no apology even after I said I've been waiting 17 minutes. All he said was I know there's nothing I can do about it. On top of that the fries I got were cold and soggy and the quarter pounder with cheese ( which is supposed to be made to order) was clearly not. On top of that the way they put the burger and other sandwiches in the bag the containers were open and ingredients were falling out. I understand places are short staffed but they should still be doing the best they can, however waiting 17 minutes in line at a McDonald's is just unacceptable. I would have gotten my food quicker if I went to an actual sit down restaurant. An apology completely upfront when he brought my food would have gone a long way instead of just saying don't worry everything is there. Read moreWhen arriving at the restaurant the womens bathroom was completely out of soap, after notifying the manager no one came to refill it after a little while of waiting so we had to resort to just rinsing with water and using handsanitizer. About 10 to 15 minutes after we had finished eating and left we had discovered we had lost a piece of valuable jewelry. After several several minutes of trying to call the restaurant on our way back there someone (that sounded a lot like the manager I had talked to about the soap earlier) finally answered. After being informed it had not been turned in I requested if someone could go to look at the table we sat at and gave the exact table number and was informed that they were too busy and they would send someone to look when they could and to call back later. When we arrived about 5 minutes later we thankfully found it still at the table. There were only a couple of customers in the restaurant and only a couple of cars in the drivethru when we pulled up (it was also like that when we first left too). I was happy to see the Quarter Pounder Value Meal. It was late in the date and I hadn't eaten anything yet.
The woman at the first window was so helpful and joyful to speak with that I rounded up for the Ronald McDonald House.
When I got to the next window, the person was equally pleasant despite being so busy. I was thankful that I did not have to pull over to wait. Everything in the bag appeared correct. 2 fries, 2 boxes of apple pies and a box of a quarter pounder with a ticket that said NO AMER CHEESE
The fries were so hot, filled the sleeve and were delicious!
But when I opened the Quarter Pounder, the first thing I saw was the tell-tale yellow dripping off the edge. I read the ticket attached to the box again. The ticket was right but I had 2 slices of American cheese on my quarter pounder. I had large pieces of onion that hid the flavor and fresh pickles.
