Nupa South — Restaurant in Rochester

I’m from Texas, where we’re lucky to have a very diverse food scene, so my standards are pretty high. We traveled to Rochester for a month due to a hospital stay, and I kept seeing Nupa’s locations around town—which definitely piqued my curiosity.

After finally giving it a try, I was blown away. The food was exceptional. I had the Chicken Kabobs and Chicken Pita, while my son enjoyed the Steak Kabob Salad. Everything was flavorful and fresh, which had us coming back three more times just to explore more of the menu.

On our latest visit, I placed a to-go order and was helped by Brandon. When I got back to the hotel, I noticed one of the dishes was missing. I called the restaurant and what happened next truly surprised me in the best way. Brandon not only sincerely apologized, but immediately offered to personally deliver the missing item to my hotel. I’ve never experienced that level of customer service before—especially not from a fast-casual place.

I ended up driving back to the restaurant instead, and when I arrived, not only was the missing item ready, but Brandon also offered me a free dessert as a gesture of goodwill. It was such a thoughtful touch.

Everyone can appreciate great food, but when it’s paired with exceptional service, it creates a lasting impression. Thank you, Nupa’s—and especially Brandon—for turning a small hiccup into a memorable customer experience. Whenever I’m back in Rochester, I know exactly where...

Amazing place... amazing space. First time at this branch of Nupa... The food was excellent and I will be back to try more items off their menu. Unsweetened Ice Tea is my default beverage and they made an excellent choice of beverages also. I really like what they have done with the otherwise drab room. I enjoy the large windows. For me, along with the food, I was so thankful their ambiance is made excellent by their choice of music. This may seem like a weird thing to say, but every place in Rochester plays the same 50 songs over and over and over again! Music creates an Ambiance and the music they selected shows their INDIVIDUALITY and INDEPENDENCE from corporate/government control. Seriously nice way to escape the NPC's and Normies for a nice...

I usually love nupa and everything we get from there. Today was a different story. Ordered to go and got home to realize the majority of our order was wrong. Ordered my salad with grilled chicken, called back because my salad didnt have it the guy told me "I never asked for it on there" which I did, twice. My boyfriend preceded to open his chicken divon pita, ordered it with no tomato and extra honey mustard sauce, came with tomatoes and NO SAUCE at all, he called back and again was told I never stated no tomatoes on the order. They ended up giving us a free meal for that but couldnt even bother to correctly write my name down, lacey was "lay" to them, and this was all speaking to a manager. Super disappointed as I always love...
