The two times I've been to this Wendy's, it was a bad experience. The first time, the lobby was closed so naturally I went through the drive thru, the drive thru was backed up with at least 10 cars, by the time I got to the speaker, there was a note on the speaker saying they will be closed for 1 hour from 5p-6p, at this time there was 5 cars still behind me. This wouldn't have bothered me but I was there to pick up a door dash order, I drove up to the window to try and see if they could at least make me this 1 burger and 1 drink since it was a paid order, the man at the window spoke no English and said he needed to get his manager to find out about the order. About 5 mins later, I see the manager walking out with food and drink, gets into his car and leaves, does not even attempt to talk to me. The 2nd time I went there, decided to give them another go because they might have just had a bad night and this was a couple months prior, I went about 12pm, around lunchtime thinking it would be quick since they should have alot of food ready and cooking to fulfill the lunch rush, there were 5 cars in front of me, moving fairly decent, I got up to the speaker and was not greeted for almost 5 mins, after about 5 mins, a lady comes on and says "sorry for the wait, ill be right with you", I waiter another 3-4 mins, she finally came on and I ordered then drove to the window, payment was quick, drove to the second window and literally waited almost 8 mins for my 1 burger and fries. Read moreMy mom was served a very pink burger... Apparently undercooked. My dad ate all of his food, but he has been feeling awful and vomiting since this afternoon. I'm assuming his burger(s) were also undercooked. For what it's worth, my order seemed fine - and I don't seem to have any symptoms.
There are many things that I am willing to give people grace on, and I regret having to write this review. I feel that I have to write this review because other people might get sick too.
Had my parents told me sooner, like right as they apparently noticed it, I could have talked to the store and had them make it right - and maybe this review wouldn't be necessary. I only just found out minutes ago that they noticed it after receiving the burgers, but they are not "confrontational" people, so I guess they did not think to mention it to me, nor to the store.
As someone who has worked in food service, I'm annoyed for you that I have to write this review... But frankly, I need this to be taken seriously and seen, so I have to write the review here. I literally took a custom order that I had from a month ago that they were able to get correct & change 1 item about it. Then the entire order was wrong. I cannot eat mayonnaise as I have called in multiple times & explained to the person in customer service. I paid $8 for 2 sandwiches that I cannot eat. And I do NOT want any coupons. I have received at least 2 of those in the past that just sit on my shelf & expire while I get nothing out of them. Was supposed to have NO pickles, NO cheese, NO onions, NO mayo. But didn't pay attention to any of it. Thought they had fixed this but clearly not.
Update - 4/6/23: Over a month later and not a single word, email, or call from the store or Wendy's. Just shows that this store & the people who oversee it have no iterest in doing anything to support their customers. It isn't the same at all Wendy's.
