My wife made an online delivery order from the Chicken Salad Chick website for two large bowls. We paid the extra charge for delivery and tip. When receiving our order only one bowl was in the bag. The bag was stapled shut with the receipt taped to the outside which listed our order correctly. My wife called the store to ask about her order and was told the only option was for us to drive the 30 minute round trip to pickup the rest of our order. I drove to the location and asked to speak with a manager. When speaking to the manager I mentioned that my wife made an online order for delivery and half the order was left and and she was told we had to drive in to pick it up. The manager said that they don't deliver and tried to blame it on the contracted delivery party but I corrected her in showing that the receipt showed two bowls and the bag was stapled shut so it must have been an error on their part in failing to put our entire order in the bag. I asked for a refund on the bowl that was left out and was told all she could do was give me the bowl I ordered. I asked if she could refund me the delivery charge. She said no. I asked if she could give me a gift card in the value of the delivery charge and she said no. I then said to be clear, what you are saying is that you don't want our future business. She replied we would love to have your future business, so I said then there must be some way we can make this right because this mistake has cost me having to spend gas and time to drive out here and get an order that I've paid for and paid to have delivered. She respond I'm sorry there is nothing I can do. So unfortunately as much as my wife enjoys their chicken salad, we will be taking our...
Read moreI strongly advise staying away from this location's "delivery" options. The meal is still delivered via DoorDash even if you purchase it through the CSC website. If there is a problem. You have to deal with DoorDash because "Chicken Salad Chick is not responding for the meal after it's picked up." When I was attempting to find out what happened to my dinner, General Manager Michael Menzo repeatedly told me this. That's all he would say, in all honesty, like a pre-programmed response. CSC gladly accepts your payment and then claims it's not their issue. despite the fact that you initially had nothing to do with DoorDash. Before heading out there, I made 10 to 15 phone call attempts to contact CSC to straighten everything out. Michael claims that they don't take calls during lunch. I get it. Mistakes do occur. However, I have had problems with this business and their claim that my food was delivered before.
If not for Michael's lousy attitude, terrible customer service, and smug demeanor—as if I were bothering him for his company making a mistake—all of this would not have been so bad. He eventually scribbled down my order from my phone receipt and resubmitted it. Thanks Michael for...
Read moreThere are many things left to be desired with my experience. I thought I'd try this place out when I had to stop by my kids daycare to deliver some clothes and diapers on my lunch break. I ordered the Carol chicken sandwich on White bread toasted with a side of loaded potato soup and an unsweet tea. The chicken sandwich was very bland no salt no pepper said it had celery definitely couldn't taste that it appeared to only be mayonnaise in chicken my bread was burnt and it was the average size sandwich. Potato soup with a small portion but very tasty also needed salt and pepper but overall good the service was fast and friendly I definitely got in and out in under 10 minutes. But the overall best thing about my experience was the prepackaged sugar cookie that came with my meal and the free bag. That's why I gave it three stars instead of none because $11 for a very bland chicken sandwich and a small cup of potato soup didn't seem worth it. Considering maybe going back and trying it again in the future and trying a different chicken salad blend. If your penny pinching I wouldn't recommend but if you're looking for some fast service definitely where...
