We got here around 10PM and the dining room was closed. An employee told us to stand in the second drive thru line, but when we get to the window we are told we can't order without a car by the same employee.
We then order curbside pickup through the app at 10:36 PM. Over an hour later the same employee came outside and asked if we were waiting for an order. He said he'd check for us, but minutes passed and he didn't return so we go back to the window. We explain that we have been waiting for an hour and show them our order confirmation. They tell us now, after an hour of waiting, that they can't make the milkshake and latte we ordered because the machines are down. We ask for a refund for those items and they say they can't do that. We finally got our food at 11:45PM and they gave us two Sprites as compensation for our wait. We don't even like Sprite. Worst McDonalds we've ever been to.
UPDATE 12/17/2022 McDonald's has the worst service imaginable. A few days after this incident on OCTOBER 7TH, I submitted a form to McDonald's official customer care. I heard back from someone on October 12th, who told me I'd be hearing from a regional worker soon after. On November 1st, I received a call and email from someone by the name of Belinda McGraw. I kindly explained the situation to her and how I would at least like a refund for the items I did not receive, but she was kind enough to offer me compensation for the whole experience. She told me I would be receiving a gift card, but days and days had gone by and I had not received it. I emailed Mrs. Belinda McGraw back on November 14th, kindly asking when I would be receiving the gift card. On November 16th she emailed back stating that said she was still working on it. I waited longer and had yet to receive it. Emailed back on December 5th and got no response. It is now December 17th, over 2 months since this incident and I have yet to receive a refund for food I didn't receive despite waiting over an hour for it. I don't like to be a Karen, which is why I've tried to be patient this entire time. But I work in a similar place myself and all I have to say is that you've got to at least try to provide good customer service. McDonald's doesn't seem like they care at all what happens...
Read moreWent there for a good atmosphere to work and have a business lunch (sat separate when they arrived as all my work things were set up. This has always been common here just as any good quality fast food or cafe establishment ). Had an amazing time for a little over an hour enjoying that get together (you can see this on camera right down to handing me work papers they went to the car to get me ). Inbetween this I heard (as did the rest of the customers ) all the mocking and lude commentary made by staff about customers calling them dumb, can’t they read, the list goes on. An old manager who I had no issues with especially since my time there ended on a good note and them consistently asking me to come back all the time while I was starting up a small business after being ill ran into me and gave me a hug (this was fine even mutual at that moment only to later find out they had lied about how I left and as she left she mocked a “don’t u know this is the worse place to work apparently” ). I was then glared at the rest of the time, mocked , made to feel unwelcomed, heard them bragging about running away customers intentionally so it can be slow and have very few custom, didn’t mind any business but drama and the customers private business. I had checked to see if a dinner order under my name was sent and when they said no I charged my private phone and as I was about to make the final decision on that I over heard them yelling at customers in the lobby to leave and get out (some had placed order some had been using the cafe style as peace after eating some were trying to warm up and charge phones. They laughed when the ones who placed orders said they had orders still). At this point I got up and left, behind me I did hear somebody yet again make a arrogant statement of “oh what’s wrong” after them believing I would not order a large meal apparently (honestly don’t know who would after all of that).went from an amazing environment among all the other regular employees I worked with an would receive constant tips with to a very intentionally hostile one. Read moreDon't get me wrong the food quality was pretty good but my last experience is probably my last. I ordered my food at the kiosk and it told me I couldn't pay there. It proceeded to give me a receipt to take to the counter. A girl comes to the register and takes my receipt and puts it into the system. I pay and then she proceeded to hand me back the receipt from the kiosk. I thought it was a bit weird that they gave me the same receipt back but I sat down and waited anyway. After about an hour of waiting I finally have enough of waiting and ask one of the workers why the hell my order was taking so long to get to me. Mind you I knew something was up when they steady were handing out other orders. So when I ask they proceeded to tell me that I did not pay and that the only order that matched mine was from an hour ago. Man it's almost as if I've been waiting an hour. I told them I did pay and they proceeded to ask why I waited so long to ask about it. 2 reasons: Firstly I'm pretty shy and find it highly difficult to socialize with anyone (hence why I was using a kiosk in the first place) second I was told by the worker that I was all good and that it'd be out to me when she handed me my kiosk receipt. After I'd explained what happened they just brushed I off as if I wasn't waiting an hour for a single meal. At one point some lady stormed in talking about some sauce and the manager got really unprofessional. To be fair the lady who stormed in wasn't exactly friendly and was yelling but overall that made my order take a little longer. After an hour and 20 minutes my order finally gets to me and who would have thought part of my order was missing. Wait another 5-10 minutes for that and finally get out of there after an hour and 30 minutes of waiting. To say the least probably one of the worst mcdonalds...
