Update my review from 5 stars a couple of weeks ago to 1 star on today's visit 8/9/24 wow didn't expect this the corned beef sandwich this time was chopped corned beef I couldn't tell if there was cheese on it or not but everything was chopped and mushed together it was terrible bread was not toasted well at all ,the coleslaw tasted old every thing was lousy totally different!!! Like I bought it at a different restaurant I can't believe the difference in this times visit and my first visit ....I won't be going back... The place is obviously NOT consistent 😕(the first Reuben the bread was toasted perfectly The corned beef was a nice slices laid down on the bread and so was the cheese and sauerkraut this time it looked like it was scraped off off the floor and thrown into my sandwich it was disgusting all mush falling out of the sandwich because it was chopped ??? I threw the slaw and the sandwich in the garbage...7/24/24 Oh my gosh!!! I'm talking about oh my gosh!!! BEST Reuben I've had since I left upstate New York the best!!! The coleslaw top notch everything was Top notch..... Sweet girl that took my order could not have been more informative!! What a pleasure to find this place wonderful..... So glad the first place I stopped we're out of...
Read moreI recently had my first visit to Southern Salads after hearing about them and it will not be the last. The restaurant is casual yet comfortable while the customer service is just as dynamic as their food. The staff was very welcoming, which heightened the experience.
The SW BBQ Chicken Salad (Grilled chicken coated in their homemade BBQ sauce, served on a bed of salad mix with black beans, fried corn, and egg, sprinkled with spicy French fried onions) had fresh, crisp veggies, an excellent combination of flavors, but the star of the show was the BBQ chicken. The sauce on the chicken was irresistibly delicious.

The Egg Salad Sandwich (Fresh, homemade egg salad with your choice of bread) was enjoyable and nostalgic not only because of the fresh ingredients, but also because of the grilled sourdough bread. The egg salad did not have sweet relish, which is how I am used to eating it, but it did not...
Read moreSome friends wanted to bring in lunch today from a place I had never heard of called Southern Salads and Sandwich Co. I googled the restaurant and found their website. The first thing I noticed was that there weren't any pictures of their food ...clue! I ordered the Roast Beef and it was by far the driest sandwich I have ever had ... no mayo, mustard or any other type of condiment on it. I was only able to get down half of it with the glass of tea I had and trashed the rest of it. Others in my others in my party ordered salads only to find that they were out the dressings they wanted. Not good to be out of dressings if your name is Southern Salads. I did see a few reviews online and most of them complained of poor service and or dry chicken salad and sides (I.e.; potato salad). I won't be back and would suggest looking elsewhere if you want a...
