Oh Diosito, THIS is aMAAAzing, ok? We went for an IV to fill the little body with vitamins and check them out since we've been feeling a little sick lately and that helped a lot but this place after that was the cherry on the banana split 🍒
Starting with the fact that it is a place with a modest space that seems more intended for drinking, chatting and eating reasonable portions, all just calm and easy, enjoying every sip and every bite
I ordered a seasonal sangria and my fiancé a sletzer that we discovered in Florida, my sangria was refreshing and balanced 😌
We ordered some crab cakes, which is not something we usually order (no seafood) unless it's near the sea, but we made an exception because the combination sounded incredible; the 🦀 tasted very fresh, as did the arugula, the bell peppers were crunchy and dressing was a perfect complement 👌
Then we ordered the nachos as another of our appetizers (but it is in the entree area, I was very impressed by how they presented it, visually it is a beautiful plate full of color, blue, yellow and red tortillas, purple cabbage, cheese, and the meat? Oh my God! So tender, juicy, cooked to perfection! (In the photos you can see my love's happy face 😁🩵)
We also ordered entrees (gnocchi and sliders) and it was no exception: well-balanced flavors, excellent texture, original creation and presentation methods. We were truly delighted. The service was attentive and sweet, and the atmosphere and decor were very clean, beautiful, and unique ✨
One million % recommended, we will come back and order/try different things...
Read moreWe were so disappointed in Corks, Cooks, Books today-not in the service- our server, Eliza, was amazing! The food was fantastic as usual. I have gone here often and often bring out of town guests and I have never been disappointed. Today I brought several colleagues to celebrate a friend’s upcoming wedding. We wanted something special, not on campus food. We planned to order drinks and food (and did). I brought an outside cake (w plates, forks, knife)and was told we could not have it unless we paid $25 cutting fee. Truly I understand if you are eating at a restaurant and you bring outside food and don’t purchase but this was a cake- they don’t sell cake. We bought food/drink- $300 worth.I unfortunately had no choice given everyone was on there. I even had to sign a waiver for them to cut a simple cheesecake that I brought. It was unfortunate, Mindy, the owner, explained the “policy”- I don’t see it on website but even a nominal surcharge is appropriate- $25?? That’s more than many cakes. No one else was in the restaurant except the 7 of us (outside). No exception was made. No thought was given to the customers, just this is our policy. I stayed today but I will not be back and will not recommend but they won’t care. Mindy you might want to think about how you treat customers. This community is what helps ypur...
Read moreWow, this place is an absolute gem. The food is fabulous and they have a really impressive wine list. FANTASTIC service. Like beyond service- more like experiencing din & drinks from a close friend. Great selection of beer/NA options too.
They’re super gluten free/celiac friendly as the owner and a manager both have celiac. I felt so safe here! Allergy folks, come enjoy! And the food was sooo good. The flatbread is delicious, but the meatballs were our favorite! We loved the Brussels sprouts too. The menu is just really well designed. I can’t wait to come back and try more.
The vibe is so fun. They had live music and everyone was just enjoying themselves. I can’t wait to come back. This place does everything right! They have tons of live events too. What a...
