I moved off of Long Island 14 yrs ago... Listen, I'm reading remarks about the ingredients and lightweight pizza etc.... Let's be real, Pizza in general is not what it used to be. Back in the day I'd pick up a box and it felt like a few lbs. Nowadays, no matter where you go it's ounces. Anyway... with that being said after eating my pizza from this place I honest to God do not ever wanna hear anyone say "it's the water, we can't get pizza or bagels because it's not NY water". Brooklyn Pizza in Rock Hill has proven that! Stopped in tonight while returning home from Christmasville. Saw their sign and thought they were brand new. ( they r not, it's been a year). I no longer trust any pizza joints in Rock Hill and always travel to Charlotte for ours. (14 yrs) but read they do slices so figured for a few bucks rather than a whole pie let's try it. The foldable crust was total perfection. Flavor a bit weak but we chose to go back in and get a large pie. It was delish. Flavor was much better, probably because it was fresh and the crust was again perfect for me. Everyone has an opinion.( hubby likes it alittle crisper). No way, lol. I also got knots because I saw them and they looked good. I was not disappointed. Soft inside, nice outside. I wish I got some sauce with them, but I survived without. Based on our experience tonight, if the pies remain consistent (which I have found to be an issue in many establishments) then I will happily give them my busine$$$! I'm going to try the Grandma's Pizza next and then probably the Margherita. Fingers crossed we don't have to travel to Charlotte anymore! Try it out... buy a slice and see for yourself if you don't wanna commit to a full pie! To me... this is as good of my style NY Pizza that I'm gonna get around here. Owner said they are opening the kitchen soon and will have a full menu. Good Luck to them. They don't advertise, just word of mouth right now, but I've been missing out for a year so spread the word! Ps, if they can get pizza crust and knots like that... wish they'd make bagels and...
Read moreI was given a time for delivery and then I received a text that it had been changed to another time. I thought we’ll everyone is short staffed so I will wait. It still never showed up so I called after an hour and 15 min. I was told someone picked it up. 1 hour and 40 min. wait it arrived and I took it in the house. To my surprise it was the wrong pizza with the wrong toppings. I called them back and the girl that answered said I would have to come in and reorder and wait in the parking lot for 50 minutes. I said can I just order over the phone and pick it up when it’s ready. She said no it will be the same time weather I order now or up there. I said no it wouldn’t because I could sit at my house instead of waiting in the lot for it. I said I don’t want to sit in the lot for 50 minutes after I reorder when I can do it from my home. She just wasn’t getting it and put me on hold twice once for over five minutes and then again to take care of an order. After she talked to the manager I was told I could pick it up but there was many orders in front of me and it could be an hour. She just couldn’t get it I already waited an hour and 40 min for mine which was wrong and now another hour. She didn’t understand she should of started mine now so it would be ready fast since I already waited 2 hours with the calls plus the delivery wait. I texted the driver back and he said thats the order they gave him and he couldn’t help me because he worked for Uber. I was under the impression they had their own driver but they don’t. I was out the $5 delivery fee and the $5 tip and still had to wait another hour and also had to drive up myself anyways. This pizza isn’t worth an hour wait let alone a 3 hour wait. Good luck getting your pizza correct when your dealing with multiple people and businesses. I won’t be doing business...

I’ve been to this pizzeria multiple times, and I have to say—the pizza is consistently spot-on when it comes to flavor and style. It’s honestly the closest you’re going to get to authentic New York-style pizza in the area. That said, what brings me to write this review is the growing inconsistency in availability.
On several visits, they’ve been out of certain menu items. Today was particularly disappointing—I drove 20 minutes specifically for their Grandma pizza, only to find out they were out of it. I settled for a plain slice. Then I asked for Parmesan cheese, and the friendly girl at the counter apologized, saying they were out due to a shipment issue. I get it, things happen, but this is starting to become a pattern.
Unfortunately, the lack of Parmesan really affected the flavor. The slice was bland and just didn’t live up to the usual standard I’ve come to expect. If this were a one-time issue, I wouldn’t even mention it—but it’s happened more than once now.
I truly enjoy the food here and I hope they can tighten up operations. The quality is there—it just needs...
