I was very excited to try ‘The Food Mechanic’s’ menu. The pictures on social media look amazing and it’s great that Rock Island has added another legit option to it’s lackluster food scene. Read moreI went to see Blues Rock-It who I hadn't seen before. I had also never been to Kavanaugh's. I love both the band and the place. I'm not sure about the atmosphere. It was definitely under construction. To get it in, I walked through a framed out wall. There were a variety of tables and chairs, so a bit of church basement/garage kitsch. The service, however, was terrific. Friendly and real.
