Katie's Cup — Restaurant in Rockford Township

The woman who rented to us was rude, mean, talked to us like we were her children.......... The entire experience when having to deal with her was horrible and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, even though the actual atmosphere was nice! She stood around, she stared us down with somewhat of a gnarly glare, we were a mixed family and she made us feel uncomfortable. This was not only my opinion but the opinion of several others in attendance. THIS IS NOT A RESTAURANT, THEY DO NOT SELL FOOD! This was a venue location that my family and I chose for a baby shower, and there were 2 other parties going on as well which we weren't informed of while pre-planning this event. This has got to be the cutest and most welcoming cafe in Rockford. This place was so clean and tidy and smelled like fall!! I had my baby shower here the beginning of October we hired a barista from 11-1 she was so friendly and helpful, they have a small nice selection of books to choose from, and everthing from the floors, the tables and smell of fresh coffee is just so warm and inviting, there is plenty of tables and space to do or host a wide variety of things from study groups to reserved parties and showers, to just some alone time or even coffee dates, + they have section of books marked for group s like a book club and they will take donation books. Which is really nice as well....

We are grateful for the partnership that Katie’s Cup coordinates the use of the Rockford Public School District parking lots for free to hold the biggest car show in downtown Rockford!
