I placed my delivery order through my subway app. I reviewed it 3 times. Made a couple changes and reviewed it a 4th time. It wasnāt until I placed and paid for the order that I noticed the app changed the subway location and it showed that DoorDash was delivering my order so therefore I paid $7.55 DoorDash fees including my tip I chose⦠(which I am glad I paid a tip because the DoorDash delivery guy was very courteous and told me it was his first nightā¦he should get 5 stars!!)
Moving onā¦.i met him at my front door and noticed right away that he didnāt have my bottle of sprite I ordered and paid for. We discussed that and he said I should call DoorDash and Subway to see what can be done. I asked him if he could just go back and get it but he said he could not! He also could not tell me the DoorDash phone number. I took my sandwich and two cookies and thanked him for the delivery.
This is where it gets worseā¦.I called the Subway restaurant that I ordered from and spoke to the same guy who I had already spoke with when I confirmed my online order to make sure that I got the right order because the app changed the location of the store from where I thought I was ordering from. He verified everything and he said that there was nothing he could do to help me with a DoorDash phone number. He said they donāt have the number. And he canāt deliver the sprite.
So I googled the DoorDash number and talked to this very nice lady who informed me that subway absolutely has the number because they have to call us to come and pick up the order so that it gets delivered! I said well thatās what I thought.
So I called subway back and the subway guy lied to me about not having the DoorDash number and I said well tell me whose fault is it? Did the DoorDash guy forget to pick it up? He then states oh well when I was talking to you earlier when you were verifying your online order with meā¦the DoorDash guy was there to pick up your order and I just forgot to give him your sprite! I said oh well then itās your fault that I donāt have my sprite to go with my meal! I said so I suggest you get in your little car and bring me my sprite so I can enjoy it with my meal and he said Iām sorry I canāt leave and I said well you have to rectify this! I donāt care who you send but Iād like to have my bottle of Sprite please! He said well youāll have to call DoorDash and I said fineā¦this is so messed up. šš”
So at that point, I called DoorDash for a second time and I got this nice lady, who answered my call and I explained the situation to her and she confirmed that yes they absolutely have the phone number and theyāre supposed to be giving it out to customers if they ask for it. I explained how I just had surgery on my hand, and that I had taken Percocet and couldnāt drive and take the chance of driving on a class three or four medication. What if I got in a car accident? She said she absolutely understood. So she transferred me to a different department. If you will please tell them the story and they can help you with that and will get it re-delivered for free. I said thank you!
Iām talking to the guy and he listens to the whole story and then states he has to send me to a different department if thatās OK hold the line pleaseā¦so another person answers, and I start telling her the story which will be the third time I was repeating that story, and all of a sudden it goes into an auto record message saying please answer the questions in our survey. We appreciate you taking the timeā¦.she didnāt even hear the whole story and she just flipped me into the survey thing. So I hung up and called DoorDash AGAIN. Went through the whole story for the fourth time and they transferred me to the correct department. I repeated the story a fifth time and he said OK let me put you on hold and Iāll call the location and have them bring you a bottle of sprite delivered free of charge no delivery feeā¦I said well thank you seeing I already paid for it. So I started eating my sandwich and noticed subway forgot to put spinach on it!! Uggghā¦Iām...

Jennifer is her name. She had this lady in there she was taking her time they were friends trying to play it off Then they get to the register she act like she doesnāt know how to ring this pizza. Jennifer doesnāt and her little Employee then when I asked nicely, was anybody gonna help anyone else besides The woman that she was making a pizza for that she screams at the top of her lungs get out of my store, so Iāll be calling corporate in the morning Donāt eat the other places filthy inside.
