Tortacos Soto — Restaurant in Rockford Township

I've walked past this place maybe 100 times and never went in because they always seem to have no customers or only a couple customers. I'm cautious about buying from places that have no customers because that usually means the food is bad. I don't know how this place can keep its door open, they have to be family owned and barely getting by. Or maybe they are just really busy at certain hours.

So I went in to try their steak burrito, and it was pretty good. Wish it had a little more bean in the filling, but overall it was good. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. The hot sauce that came with it was pretty good too. Prices are fairly reasonable. This place has more of a homemade style of Mexican food.

El Burrito Loco on Auburn is a little better for the same price, their giant steak burrito is great. But Tortacos Soto's might have some more authentic and unique items you can't get there. And El Burrito Loco is on the other side of town so if you're in the local area, it's worth giving Tortacos Soto a try. Gotta support our local restaurants otherwise they...

Went to tortacos Soto thursday at 5pm.. Ive been there several time even some weeks twice in one week. While waiting for my guest I ask for more chips another pop I was asked rudely if I was going to order I stated again I’m waiting on a guest I was told I would have to pay for chips if I wanted more.. That’s fine but the way I was told was rude and u would’ve thought I was some bum posted there for free chips.i finally got taco they were half the size as normal lettuce was missing and it was a sloppy made taco and the quality wasn’t what I was use to seeing as I’ve been going there for years. I ask to speak to manger a family member came with a lot of attitude long story short I told her I wouldn’t be back she said thanks for doing her a favor .. Keep in mine over the years I sent more than a dozen people there and frequent there often I will take my money n Business to another restaurant that values...

This was one of my favorite places to go. Good food at a good price, good and friendly customer service. But when I went in August 18 there was a guy I’ve never seen before, he was Mexican or Indian he had an orange shirt that day and just overall rude and creepy! He said nothing and did not stop staring!! Then my server was this girl I also haven’t seen before and her name is marina and one of the worst servers ever. She literally just brought our food out and that was it!! Never came and checked on us, didn’t give us any refills, never even said anything! Rude and dissapointing. Why do you have people who obviously don’t care about good customer service working with customers!?? They should be fired. As soon as we walked in it also seemed like they were flirting with each other blowing kisses at each other from far away. I’m never coming back if they are still working...
