Wendy's — Restaurant in Rockford Township

My husband and I normally have pretty good experiences with this Wendy's, with today being the exception. We ordered two sandwiches, one of them a Bourbon Bacon sandwich. We got the sandwich, drove off, and realized halfway down the road that it didn't have any bacon on it. I decided to turn around. What is a Bourbon Bacon sandwich without bacon? We got to the speaker, told them the issue, and drove around to the second window. I was being polite about it all. I knew things like this happened, not a huge deal. So what made me a bit ticked off was how inconvenienced the workers seemed to be. The girl who came to the window was short with me and rude. Not the least bit apologetic. She asked if I wanted bacon on the side or if I wanted the sandwich remade. Since she offered it as an option, I said the latter would be great. She was visibly irritated and closed the window. Me and my husband exchanged a confused look. After all, it wasn't our fault they forgot to put the bacon on the burger, so why were we on the receiving end of such a poor attitude? A couple of minutes later, she handed us our fresh burger with a frustrated, "Here you go." I told her I appreciated it and smiled. Didn't return the smile, say have a good day, etc. Listen, I worked at Starbucks for almost eight years. I get it. I know how difficult customers can be, but what I was asking for wasn't unreasonable and this employee made me feel like I was at fault for something I wasn't. Last night i decided to stop here omw home after working a 10 hour shift. I typically get great food when i go to east state location, but this location is a hot mess. When i pulled up to pay there was a movie or music or something blasting profanities. While im not typically offended by stuff like that, it was a bit extreme and unprofessional. When i got to the 2nd window, he handed me my drink which wasnt even filled all the way and had rootbeer all over the outside of it. Im not usually a complainer so i excused it and cleaned it myself, and immediately after he handed me my food. I should of known better right then and there that this food was finished being cooked WAY too fast. I drove off with it though. I ate omw home, i usually eat the fries first. These tasted like they were sitting then rehydrated but wasnt terrible. But when i got to my burger, it was gross. It was cold and squished. I ordered the burbon bacon. Theres no doubt in my mind this was an old burger that had been sitting. Having to pay $12 for that was very frustrating. I ate half and threw it away. I still lived 30min away from that location and was absolutey too tired to turn around. I cut my losses and just kept heading home. I definitely wont ever return there. I've always loved Wendy's every since I was a young adult but I love that even more this last visit because I had to leave another restaurant where my friend and I have sat down to get something to eat and after hour I had asked the waitress where's our food and she said I'll just be another 5 or 10 minutes 40 minutes later still no food but at this point I realized my friend hadn't gotten her drink so if she hadn't gotten her drink and neither of us had gotten our food and my sugar was quickly dropping which is why we stopped their first place we decided let's go now I don't like eating at fast food places so this is why I went to Wendy's because it's the only fast food place that I can actually go to and get something gluten and dairy free which was why I went in there and got a full taco salad I was able to walk in order my food and my friends food and drinks pay for it get it and sit down all in 4 minutes she wasn't finished getting her soda out of the machine thingy when our food came up Rady so not only is there food fresh but 99% of the time when I go there even when there's a rush my food is fresh and fast Wendy's is the only fast food restaurant that I think can call them self a FAST food...
